The location is like in a postcard. The tranquility and serenity are out of this world. We had some problems with the water pressure, but the owners were always responsive and even changed the water pump.

Sensational. It exceeded expectations. Even with temperatures of minus 20ºC, the cabin and the igloo were very comfortable. Extremely well equipped for cooking. The distance to the igloo was not a problem. Having a car is recommended, but it doesn't have to be 4-wheel drive. 50 min easy drive to Rovaniemi. Go to the market before because you won't want to leave.

The all house was amazing, really clean, fully equipped, nice outdoor. The jacuzzi and sauce was wonderful.. the road to get there was beautiful 😍. If you are looking for a nice quiet place between friends or family, that's for you. We were a friends with 2 kids they enjoyed the house and the outdoor. We did a fired and had some marshmallows around the fire. The kitchen is fully equipped and so clean!!! Room clean. 2 toilet so it's perfect.. there is no bad point on this amazing house. The energy of this house is so peaceful ✨️

The location of the cabin was perfect. Not too far from the Rovaniemi city, there is a restaurant within walking distance of the cabin. The cabin itself was located next to the river with amazing views, and the aurora lights were amazing to see. The host provided great amount of fire wood, and original finland sledge where kids had fun all day. Sauna was amazing and the cabin itself brought that great feeling. The roads were clear out after each snow fall, the commute was great. Overall, if I'll come back again! 100% legitimate pictures but in real life look way better!

We have just got back from the most perfect stay at Rentola! Me, my partner and our son travelled to Lapland to explore the area and of course see Santa, but our favourite part of the whole experience was this beautiful cottage! Mauri was there on arrival to show us around (which was so kind as our flight was delayed for 2 hours and it was so late when we arrived, so we were very grateful he waited for us.) On arrival we had a welcome pack which included biscuits for my son to decorate - very thoughtful and he loved this activity. They also bought games for him to play and decorations for him to decorate the tree which was so kind. It made us feel at home straight away! We are so grateful to have experienced this beautiful, cosy cottage. It’s got everything you need; comfy beds, fully equipped kitchen, a private sauna and one of the best bits - a private hut with a fire pit! We loved sitting around the fire and having a bbq, drinking wine. It was perfect. Also everything was so clean and tidy. Oh and nice and warm! We were worried about the cold but it was so nice and warm inside the cottage. Surroundings were beautiful, it was so peaceful and waking up to the lake in the morning and watching the sunrise was a real highlight for me - absolutely stunning! The communication from both Mauri and Seija was fantastic from the moment we booked until the very end of our trip, it really made the whole experience so easy! We are already thinking about when we can next come back to Rentola as we loved it (and Lapland!) so much. Thanks Mauri and Seija for a fantastic stay!!
