Fantastic accommodation and the best view in Lalibela. Mr Gashaw was an excellent host and everything went perfectly, from the transport to and from the airport to the reception at the lodge. We felt like we were at home and welcomed into the family. The room was large and very clean, as was the bathroom. The mattress was the most comfortable I've slept on this holiday, and the bed linen was very clean and smelled fresh. The Wi-Fi worked very well. Breakfast was great, with fresh homemade bread, honey, fresh fruit, tea and we had the famous Ethiopian coffee made exclusively for us, with the whole process and ritual of preparation. All the rooms have a magnificent view and you can breathe in the pure mountain air from the balcony. Mr Gashaw was also our guide on the visits to the churches and proved to be very knowledgeable about the history of the churches and their symbolism. He also took us to excellent restaurants and we were able to enjoy a few moments of everyday life in Lalibela with him. I highly recommend this accommodation in Lalibela and Mr Gashaw's guiding service.

New hotel in excellent location in Lalibela, which amazing views from the rooms. The staff were so kind and spoke excellent English, breakfast and dinner were generous and tasty, and it is only a 2 minute walk to the famous churches of Lalibela. The rooms are huge with comfortable beds and lots of hot water. Highly recommend!

Panoramic View Hotel Lalibela has a great location and superb views! The rooms are clean, and the food and service are excellent. The highlight of my stay was definitely my private tour with Mequanint — the best tour guide in Lalibela! He showed me around the 11 rock-hewn churches in just two hours — a new Guinness World Record in the 8th Wonders of the World! I strongly recommend both the hotel and Mequanint as a guide if you visit Lalibela (Ethiopia).

Close to Kana restaurant, stunning views in the garden, incredible staff, the breakfast and very close to the historical churches. They have a local guide who speaks great English and have incredible knowledge about the history. They even offered me dinner for the last night!

Staying at this hotel was a great, peaceful experience for my partner and I. Birhan made us feel welcomed, safe and informed. Organised our trip to see Lalibela Church's and our fantastic guide. We are very appreciative of our stay and would highly recommend staying at this hotel with kind people. Birhan is always there to answer any questions before and during your stay. The hotel itself is beautiful with amazing scenic views of the mountains from your windows. Inside your room you have beautiful handmade furnitures with detail.
