This was a late booking for an overnight stopover on the way to Porto. We didn't know anything about this small town but obviously other travellers did as there were plenty of them! Lovely hotel with a friendly welcome and easy on-street free parking. Easy walk into the town centre. For us on this occasion it was excellent value for money.

The host is incredible! Very friendly and hardworking. Serving drinks, cooking excellent meals in his lovely restaurant (worth a detour!!) and making us breakfast! Does he ever sleep?

Excellent communication and messaging with Luisa. The apartment was spacious, spotless and had all of the comforts of home. The kitchen was very well stocked, the beds were comfortable with extra pillows and blankets. The shower was hot with nice towels. There is a side yard which is private space. The apartment is in a great location close to the main square, shops, grocery store. I would highly recommend this stay, it was amazing.
