Stylish, clean, well equipped. Situated a short walk from many restaurants and bars. Beautiful views from the roof terrace: the honesty bar with coffees and drinks was a welcomed touch. The receptionist couldn't do enough to help. Will definitely be back.

For the last 10 years running we have come to Casa Shelly and absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. Chris looks after his clients with the utmost care and attention. The rooms are exquisite, superclean and are urban chic in design and detail. By far this is the nicest place to stay in Vejer, and the reason why Vejer is my wife favourite place in Spain. The customer service is excellent from Chris, with precise attention to detail and a feeling of being in a luxury home away from home, need I say anymore!

we loved everything about this place. We stayed at Place18 (the luxury extension of Casa del Califa) it felt like a village in the village with its organic restaurant and breakfast place. rooms were stylishly decorated, with refinement. bathroom amenities were luxurious. we loved the art in the house. (we were lucky to be alone on the house, felt like home) - the view from the room was breath taking. our favorite romantic trip so far.

Nice and tranquil hotel for a relaxing stay. We have noticed that in that region it is more windy - but the beaches going down is about 15 - 20 min by car. Nearby Vajer de la Frontera town is located - highly recommend to visit.

Stunning town with a ridiculous amount of excellent bars and...

Stunning town with a ridiculous amount of excellent bars and restaurants serving top quality food at a fraction of the price you would pay in the UK. Very Spanish (obviously) and everyone super friendly and accommodating. Lots to see and do around and not far from Cádiz. You do need a car which you can park for free at the bottom of the town and then walk up - it is incredible hilly and steep so proper shoes recommended! Beautiful main plaza with fountain and tapas places and restaurants. Highly recommend.

The town of Vejer de la Frontera is slightly off the beaten...

The town of Vejer de la Frontera is slightly off the beaten path but worth the side trip. Beafutiful views of the valley below and several walks you can take to different parts of town. The Spanish square is a fine place tuio sit on the benches and people watch and check out the interesting shops nearby. We happened to be there when a Spring Fiesta was happening and saw many beautiful women of all ages dressed in their Flamenco finery. The Tugasa Convent was an authentic old building well updated with a very good restaurant on the upper square. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

A beautiful, picturesque and interesting place to visit.

A beautiful, picturesque and interesting place to visit. Lots of great restaurants (and one notably bad one) and bars. As well some interesting shops. Two nights is enough. Great to walk around and enjoy the village although most inhabitants are foreigners. I would not recommend visiting in summer or winter. If you are at all infirm be aware that it is very hilly.

Vejer de la Frontera is a delightful place steeped in...

Vejer de la Frontera is a delightful place steeped in history set atop a hill. Prepare for steep walks through narrow streets. In October we found many restaurants closed or only open certain days or only for dinner. It is a lovely place to get away from it all for a few days.

It is one of the best villages of Andalusia.

It is one of the best villages of Andalusia. It was our third time there. This is an autentical "Pueblo blanco" with an amazing view for the sea. You have a lot of restaurantes, typical shops, and very cozy streets to walk.

Vejer is a quaint, white village in Andalusia.

Vejer is a quaint, white village in Andalusia. An excellent tour can be purchased on Voicemap for less than 6 Euros. It is filled with a wealth of history and culture of Vejer. The App works amazingly well allowing us to browse a shop that we came across and then continuing after we left the shop. The guide is Carlos Milburn. Unless one has mobility issues the car can be parked and visitors can walk through the town throughout their stay. There are many restaurants, cafes, etc. to choose from. Be aware of holidays when visiting Vejer as all the shops, etc shutter. Except for peak tourist season even the restaurants might not be serving food on a holiday.

Lovely hotel in a converted convent with a comfortable room and quality bed linens. Helpful staff and good buffet breakfast. Free parking next to the tourism office at the bottom of the hill. Nice shops and restaurants nearby in this beautiful hilltop pueblo blanco with nice views of the surrounding area. Beaches in Conil and El Palmar were an added bonus.

The location was excellent. We did not have a car so parking was not an issue for us but we know it is a challenge in Vejer de la Frontera. The apartment was spotless and size was perfect for the two of us. I think it would be snug for 4 for more than a few days. We did use the laundry which worked perfectly.

The accommodation is superb. Both our bedroom and bathroom were large, comfortable and very well equipped. Shared with the six rooms in this part of the hotel is a terrace with superb views and a very comfortable sitting room with tea and coffee making facilities and a well-stocked honesty bar.
