The house was gorgeous, great views, spotless, lots of room, comfy sitting room, really well equipped kitchen. Terrace was a great spot for coffee and breakfast, gets the sun all day.
Also, Fina the owner was incredibly helpful when we got ourselves into a car-related pickle. She helped us call our car company and get it all sorted in less than 24 hours. Life saver!
Beautiful town, loads of trails for hiking and running.
Beautiful town, loads of trails for hiking and running. Some really nice eateries and especially the famous almond dulcerias - come early in the morning as they get pretty busy in the middle of the day!

The hotel is in a superb location for hikers as it is positioned at the intersection of many of the best walks on Gran Canaria . The building faces west and looks over the mountain tops, which gives a stunning view, especially when the sun is setting. All the bedrooms also face roughly ina westerly direction so there is no fear of missing out when reserving your stay, however the winds were very strong when we stayed there in January so not really possible to use the balcony.Tea and coffee making facilities not available, would have appreciated a welcome drink or a cup of tea on arrival and air conditioning/heating unit didn't appear to work despite the appearance of a new control unit. If you are not interested in hiking there isn't any other nearby activities, however, it is still a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the scenery.

A very pretty little town/village with a modest selection of cafes, bars and restaurants and a small but well stocked supermarket. You'll need to eat fairly early in the evening though as most places seemed to be closed by 8pm (in April).
A great base from which to access the superb hiking trails in the area.

Pay attention at the evening restaurants.
Pay attention at the evening restaurants. Some are indicated as open, but if the owner doesn’t feel like to open he won’t…. So you might spend some time to get food.
I recommend to go at the bakery dulceria de Tejeda. Great pastries 😄

Gorgeous for a short stay, great for those wanting to hike, bike or study nature. Useless for the night-lifers or those wanting the party lifestyle found in the south. Tiny town, only one shop and a farmacia. A few restaurants, but no hotel. No sophisticated. Very rural

I was on a walking holiday and so Tejeda was perfect.
I was on a walking holiday and so Tejeda was perfect. I did the long walk around Roque Nublo. Itinerary no 2 from the tourist information. Scenery in the area is superb. Strangely bars and restaurants seem to close early, possibly because the town seems to cater for day trippers.
The owners are very kind, they make you feel like family. The place is beautiful and super clean (I probably never stayed in cleaner place). The view from the balcony is exceptional. The beds were really comfy, there was even the ergonomic pillow, sheets smelled like home. There is a small first aid kit in the bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped and we had everything we needed. We would stay even longer or definitely come back when in GC/Tejeda. The photos don't really do the justice to this place, it was so much nicer.
We like everything! The great terrace, but also the well equipped kitchen. We felt people took care of the apartment and the guests. The pot, the knife, and all the facilities in the kitchen were ready to be used. It was nice to be there.
Also, our host took really care of us, showed us the washing machine, and left for us some tasty oranges and typical sweets from Tejeda.
The apartment was nice, and one could feeling it was taken care with love and thinking about the guests.
.
The view from the house is great. The house is very well equipped, clean and spacious.
It is walking distance from the city center of the beautiful city of Tejeda and (car) close to starts of some nice trails. The terrace is beautiful, however we've been here in January when it was quite cold and windy so we didn't had the chance to enjoy it. Free parking in front of the house. Self check-in was very convenient.
Team Antonio/Alicia were extremely helpful and responsive to questions regarding arrival, parking and check-in, and were very welcoming when we arrived. Fresh bread magically appeared every morning in time for breakfast, too!
Even though the property is central to Tejeda, the courtyard was great, quiet and private. Perfect for eating out and for work, reading and revision!
We LOVED this beautiful house in Tejeda. It was beautifully located, there were terraces all around so we could enjoy the amazing mountains that surrounded us and the rooms were incredibly tidy and clean. Our host Carmello welcomed us with open arms and was always positive and available when questions had to be answered. We definitely recommand this little pearl!
Lovely hotel in a fantastic location situated up in the mountains. Food for breakfast and evening meal was excellent. Ideal base for excellent walking trails. The view from our room was outstanding the best view I have ever had from a hotel room. Spa is also excellent but costs extra however good discount given for hotel residents.
Great location, with an amazing view on the mountains around. 15 minutes walk from the center of the village of Tejeda (no problem to reach it if you don't have a car). The house is very comfortable and it feels like home. The two terraces are great. Paola is very helping.
The room was cosy, clean and very well-equipped. Located in a quiet lane, yet close to the village centre - it was perfect to explore the village of Tejeda. The cute li'l balcony looks out into the mountains - gorgeous views! We wished we had booked a longer stay there.
The hosts were amazing and very helpful. The location is perfect. If you're into hiking, it's right on the path to Cruz the Tejeda. It's quiet and the view is really nice. It would be the place that I definitely want to come back.
The view from Casa Alba terrace was magnificent. A beautiful and clean apartment with a very well equipped kitchen. Nearby bakeries had exquisite delicacies. Overall, Tejeda and it's surroundings are a lovely place.
The location is amazing. You can watch the stunning sun set from around the corner of the hotel. Perfect spot to start hikes after a lovely filling breakfast. Bus stops right outside to take you else where.
Beautiful location right in the center of Tejeda with magic views to the mountains. More restaurants and cake shops around. Small heaven for hikers. Vacation house comfortable and spacious.
The location was great as the house was in the historical part of Tejeda. It was close to restaurants. The house was small and quirky which we liked. It was very quiet at night.
