Great location, good communication how to obtain the key and lovely to receive a welcome bottle of water and wine, such a nice touch. The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped, even down to having basics like tea bags, salt and pepper etc. Wish my stay could have been for longer but will definitely look to book again when I’m next in Teguise! Thank you Anna and Felip!

Amazing location in Los Valles, the apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. It has an internal patio with tables and chairs, and all the more than necessary equipment for cooking and a longer stay. I recommend Casita Tahona to anybody who wants to experience Lanzarote at a perfect remote location close to lots of different points of interest. I slept really well, the surroundings were quiet and the hosts nice and very friendly!

I loved absolutely everything about this place! 😍 The bed was super comfortable. Note that the double bed is actually two singles pushed together, but it didn’t matter to me since I stayed alone. I also loved the little detail of the towels being left in a lovely cotton bag. Watching the sunrise with the swimming pool and volcanoes in the foreground was incredible. Despite being close to the main road, the area was very quiet, and it was very easy to find on arrival. The town of Teguise is nearby and definitely worth a visit. Overall, the complex is in a perfect location for exploring different parts of the island. You can park right in front of the property. The shower was in excellent condition, and all amenities were provided (soap, shower gel, conditioner, hair dryer). There was also a bottle of drinking water and a coffee machine with a few capsules kindly left by the host. That coffee made my mornings even better, I didn’t even want to leave to explore the island! 😅 Communication with the host was smooth, nothing to point out

Everything! Perfect position to quickly reach the beach and do spot check for surfing. The house is very clean, essential in the furnitures but very nice and everything working well. We really love the terrace. Also the host was super friendly and gave us a lot of useful informations to visit the area and Lanzarote in general. We can't wait to go back there!

I was there in early March, and it did feel a bit off-...

I was there in early March, and it did feel a bit off-seasony and quiet. Some of the cafes I had wanted to try were closed until the end of March. Still, a small handful of good restaurants, and easy access by road to the other parts of the island, so it was a good base to explore from. I recommend Ikarus for fresh fish, Boutique del pan-San Rafael for coffee, and the Creperia for cheap/cheerful tapas and drinks outside with music. I found the locals all very friendly.

A very interesting Lanzarote town in the mountains.

A very interesting Lanzarote town in the mountains. On Sundays it is packed with the market, many interesting stalls, but very busy - and we were there at a quiet time of year. Many coach trips come for the market. The town is also delightful on other days, with many artisan shops, so well worth visiting on a day not a Sunday as well.

Loved the old town of Teguise with the lovely church and town square at it's centre. Lovely and quiet, a great place to relax. Lovely little castle (Santa Barbara) which was free so worth a visit. Very central on the island so a good base to explore Lanzarote from. Main roads close enough to be convenient without being able to hear them when in the town. We had hired a car but I didn't see any buses so may be quiet difficult to get to if you don't drive. Little playground for children and several small shops. Great market every Sunday. Perfect for buying any presents you need for people back home. Does mean some of the roads are closed but we didn't find it too difficult to get out of the town afterwards. Restaurants were always full so had to travel to Costa Teguise to eat in the evening which meant we couldn't drink due to driving but we didn't mind too much and just kept more wine in the villa to enjoy on the balcony afterwards with the great view of the church and the volcanoes in the background which was much better than in a restaurant anyway. Quiet a few vinyards nearby. Beach and more lively area of Costa Teguise 15-20 mins drive

I've visited the art market on sunday.

I've visited the art market on sunday. I walked from Munique to Teguise. The market and village were crowded but cosy. Just outside the center there's an excellent Italian restaurant "Disfrutar". The village exudes a serene atmosphere and looks picturesque. Worth a visit.
