A real canaries town, saw zero other tourists. Right in town centre on corner of a pedestrian street with cafes, minimart, church. Car park 1 min walk. Excellent host. Note that checkin starts at 3pm even though booking.com allowed me to choose an earlier time.

The apartment was perfect and the garden unique. It was great located to explore the hiking trails (we got there by car). Loli and Marcellinho were the best hosts you may wish for. Loli even bake a lemon cake as a welcome surprise. Highly recommended.

Remarkable property, spotless all around, well manicured garden, spectacular view of the mountains. The owners, especially Lori and daughter, greeted us with such a warm welcome that we instantly felt at home. The place is very secure with parking inside the property. The pictures shown don't do justice to this little gem, lovingly taken care of by the owners and team. We booked the recently renovated part but all the other rooms were equally very well and beautifully furnished. We sincerely could have spent a month there without getting bored. Relaxing atmosphere created by several little nooks around the garden to spend the day reading and enjoying the surroundings. I recommend 100% this little "heaven on earth" to all travellers in the area. As a traveller, I have never experienced such a level of service in the care of a property for guests to enjoy and for this and I am very grateful and appreciative.

Charming and authentic stay with a warm personal touch. Loli, our caring host, welcomed us with a delicious homemade orange cake and made us feel like family. Well located apartment in the center of Tegueste. Everything at walking distance. Welcoming guests that make you feel at home right away. Upfront to my arrival, the owner provided me with several websites and infos about hiking in Tenerife. Very reactive and helpful. Well furbished apartment situated on the rooftop of a house, enjoying huge terrace and nice views. I was lucky enough to be able to try delicious local dishes prepared by the owner’s mother who is living downstairs.

Tegueste is centrally located for exploring La Laguna and...

Tegueste is centrally located for exploring La Laguna and the Anaga Mountains. The town itself isn't particularly attractive and doesn't have many restaurants (that were open over New Year's Eve/New Year's Day). There's a nice farmers' market with produce from local farms, but it's only open on weekends.

An inland village, but close to the main towns, 20 minutes from Santa Cruz and 25 minutes from Puerto La Cruz, situated in a beautiful valley, it has all the services locally, good restaurants and cafes, very clean and landscaped streets, very friendly and cordial people, very quiet both day and night, excellent.

A good location for exploring the Anaga Mountains.

A good location for exploring the Anaga Mountains. Tegueste is a small town with infrastructure, a small pedestrian zone, simple bars, restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery, and shops. The beach in Bajamar is nearby, and La Laguna is just a few minutes away by car (and of course by bus), as is the capital, Santa Cruz. It's not a touristy place; it's authentic, but you shouldn't expect nightlife or anything like that.

I believe Tegueste is a destination not to be overlooked. It's close to La Laguna, near the airport, and not at all overrun by mass tourism. Given my late arrival and the comfort of the accommodation, I didn't go to a restaurant.

The accommodation is spacious and very well maintained and decorated. It has a huge, lush garden with beautiful panoramic views of the nearby mountains. It's close to amenities and places to visit such as La Laguna, as well as stunning natural areas like the Anaga laurel forest and the Agua García mountain. The hostess welcomed us very warmly.

Tegueste is a charming small town, easily accessible by car...

Tegueste is a charming small town, easily accessible by car or bus. It's a good base for hiking in the Anaga Mountains or along the cliffs, or for surfing at Punta del Hidalgo. Rain showers are frequent in winter, so it's best to take the 15-minute drive down to the coast.
