Very clean, modern stand alone guest house, had washing line to dry clothes, excellent room facilities ie: bath, shower etc, staff extremely friendly and relaxing atmosphere where we could enjoy sitting in deck chairs in sun outside or inside to enjoy refreshments, World Soccer Cup 2024 between Spain and England was held on the night of ourn stay, very enjoyable to be in Spain who want the World Cup, would highly recommend to family and friends to book accommodation at Posada de Suesa. A hotel which is really worth its four stars, everything was of high quality. Spacey, clean and modern room with very comfortable bed. Wide selection of food for breakfast that one could have in the very nice garden. There is private parking lot a five minutes walk from the hotel. The two nicest beaches of Santander are only a few minutes walk.

Very beautiful location, extremely quiet and a wonderful escape. Hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was cheese, ham, bread, jams, cake, fruit, juice and coffee - sets you up for the day. Would highly recommend.

Located near some beautiful spots.

Located near some beautiful spots. Everything else is almost entirely negative: noise, lack of privacy, and the house is unfinished. Dangerous stairs, and if you're tall, be careful with your head in the bathrooms. Lots of mosquitoes and flies.

Suesa is a very peaceful village next to Somo.

Suesa is a very peaceful village next to Somo. You can enjoy nature just a 5-minute drive from the beach without being in the hustle and bustle of Somo. Yet, you still have access to a few restaurants. It's very well located for exploring Cantabria.

The area is very beautiful.

The area is very beautiful. We only stayed one night because we were coming from Cabárceno with friends and the next day we were going to another destination, but we'll definitely be back. There were two good restaurants in the area.

A small but charming village.

A small but charming village. Gloria's (Posada de Suesa) restaurant recommendations were spot on; both the creperie and the Bonobo restaurant were superb. The service at both establishments was excellent, and the food was top-notch.

The room was clean and more spacious than expected. There was an impressive amount of bathroom supplies (soap, shower gel, shampoo) that we found quite useful. The patio was nice and the hotel was located near many attractions, such as beautiful beaches and the beautiful city of Bilbao. The parking lot was big and the fact that they were pet friendly really helped us enjoy our stay.

"We stayed at the hotel during the low season, and it seemed like there was no one else staying there besides us. We stayed in a room on the first floor, and we could hear the owner walking up and down the stairs. It didn't bother us too much, but it could be a bit of a disturbance during the high season. Gloria was very welcoming and friendly."

We book at Posada de Suesa for one night, but this is definitely a place where you should stay longer than that as there is much to see and visit around. Moreover, room was quite comfortable and perfect for a family with two kids like us, breakfast was fine, garden invites to relax outside and parking is easy and safe.
