I just loved it so much! The apartment is clean and very chic, close to one of the famous "boulder streets". The room is big, the bed huge and very comfy and, besides a fully equipped kitchen, there is a wonderful terrace on the roof with a marvellous view of the city, where one could enjoy breakfast, a coffee or even a glass of wine. The host is an exceptional person, who struggled to find me a ride to Ronda, since there were no buses or taxis available on Sunday and I had to imperiously go there.

The flat are super clean, comfortable and spacious. In the bathroom there is both shower and bath. Right in the city Centre but not by a nosiy street. A very interesting place to visit.

A very interesting place to visit. Very busy with tourists in the day but these people disbursed at night. Moving around Setenil is a challenge, it is very hilly with lots of winding cobbled streets. We stayed overnight but on reflection we should have just gone for the day and stayed in Ronda overnight. At 19:00 there was only one bar open to eat which we thought was odd although another couple of bars opened at 20:00. The night atmosphere wasn't as good as we experienced in the day with the sun, shops and bars all open and the hustle of people mooching about. A nice place, Worth the visit

We were there on a very busy weekend and so we went to the neighbouring town of Olvera. We really enjoyed the town on Sunday night when the crowds left and I’m sure it can be quite lovely during the week.

Setenil is a unique place because of its cave houses, shops, bars and restaurants located under rock. Its a great place for a day trip or an overnight stay. Be sure to try to go during the main opening times of shops and restaurants between 10am and 8pm (for the majority). Recommend La Dehesa del Ibérico --delicious jamón ibérico and queso along with very good quality wine. Abacería El Rincón del Beso, a quirky upstairs terrace under the rock, also with very good quality wine. Many other restaurants to try, but I arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday in August and left at 9am on the Wednesday morning, so many were closing at 8pm and not open when I left.

Setenil is quite touristy, however it is a pretty town.

Setenil is quite touristy, however it is a pretty town. You do need to be happy and fit to walk up and down some steep streets. There is parking, but it eas not easy to find, despite the parking signs, and you really do not want to start driving into the town. There are several points of interest and great views, the river area is pretty and there are cafes, bars and restaurants there. The country side around Setenil is quite beautiful in May, with many varieties of wild flowers along the roadside.

To get to the Tourism Office you have to go up steep steps and fairly steep roads, which might not suit everyone, but then Setenil is built on the side of hill. The centre with the overhanging rock was a sight to see. Plenty of shops and restaurants.

Beautiful cave house right in the centre of Setenil. When you step outside on the street you are immediately under the rock sky which is a surreal experience. The house is very clean and I slept very well in the rock chamber, a very quite place. There is a small balcony upstairs, a fully equipped kitchen and yummie coffee in the house. Self check in worked well with a key box. I would return here 🙂

Very nice house, very close to Setenil. Located in a tiny village, there were everything you need to enjoy your vacation. Cosy, well equipped, clean. We liked the terrace in front of the house, neighbours are nice and friendly. Parking place is right in front of the house. If you come with kids, there are several games for entertainment. One of the best accommodations we’ve ever had 💪

The room was lovely and clean and was great value for money. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of free parking and it was a few minutes walk to see the sights in Setenil. The restaurant food was delicious. The pool looked great but we didn't use it as it was November. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very cool to be able to stay in one of the cave houses, with the rock wall above your head in the bedroom upstairs and in the hallway and living room. Nicely laid out house with lots of room, and a great location to explore Setenil.
