We really liked the location, thanks to which we could visit the Ordesa & Monte Perdido National Park and the Steppes of Huesca. There were well-stocked shops and restaurants in nearby towns. Despite the exceptional heat, our apartment was comfortably cool. We also took refreshing baths in a nearby mountain river. In the evenings we rested under the starry sky on the terrace overlooking the vegetable garden. And in the morning we were woken up by the village roosters. The apartment and the kitchen were perfectly equipped. We prepared breakfasts there using products donated by the hosts from their own vegetable garden.

Absolutely phenomenal place!! Almost 300 years old house totally renovated in top notch style. Fully equipped and offering cozy atmosphere. Location is just perfect - super quiet and with private parking spot. The view from the house is simply amazing - you can sit on terrace for hours enjoying it without anybody bothering you. Preparing dinner in large kitchen is pure pleasure, bathrooms offer large shower spots and are so clean, beds are super comfy with high quality linens. 3mins drive from the house you can find restaurants and supermarket. Ordesa valley is only 30mins drive making it so close to reach. Cherry on the cake is super friendly and supportive owner that gives you home like hospitality. We totally loved our stay there!!

Las Estrellas de Laguarta is a nice house run by nice people in the small mountain village of Laguarta, located about 40 minutes’ drive from Boltaña (Aínsa) on a narrow winding mountain road. The house is (we understand) an old barn well updated to be a two bedroom modern apartment on two floors and has fly screens in some windows to allow opening the windows at night for ventilation. (The owners were very clear that opening the other windows would invite in a horde of insects, so we kept all the other windows closed). The kitchen has the basics for cooking. You have to bring your own provisions (all food, drink, everything) as there is no store, and there is no restaurant within 30 minutes driving of Laguarta. The owners gifted us some local produce and eggs. Towels are available for an extra cost. It all works well. The owners (we met the parents; I think it is their son who usually communicates with people through their website or booking platforms) took us to a nice natural pool about 2km away when we asked about any swimming possibilities. They also gave useful advice about walking trails. Really nice people. Recommended, with a couple of minor cautions (see below), and proper planning. I think I would stay in this house again. Thank you for your warm hospitality!

Everything! It's within a peaceful and pastoral surroundings and quite ideal location for hiking in the Ordesa national park(it takes only 25 minutes by car to Torla-Ordesa). Cozy and spacious five rooms, nice garden and rooftop, well-equipped kitchen, kind and friendly host Marta, and parking is also easy. Hope we will visit and stay here again.
