This place really is a hidden gem. Excellently priced with a restaurant that serves the meal of the day at 12 euros including wine. The staff go the extra mile to speak English and assist. A charming area, some would consider it run down but the history of why is there, the wonderful reservoir meant villages were lost. if you want four star services then it’s not for you, but comfort, value for money with attentive staff and you will not go wrong. Spacious room and flexible check-in. Very good breakfast. They have a special room to store bikes but as we checked in after the reception staff had left, we were allowed to store our bikes in our room.
