The rooms are very clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay at Happy Hostal Carrales. The Hostel is close to both variations of the Camino into Burgos and a bit before the city center, so you can leave your backpack in your room before exploring the city.

Hotel Via Gotica is 250 metres from Burgos Cathedral, just across the River Arlanzón. Most rooms have a private balcony with Cathedral views and free Wi-Fi.

Staff were very professional and friendly. The bedroom was excellent. The food offering was tasty but limited. The location is not brilliant but if you look past this, you can have a good stay for a good price.
