It is basically a new town somewhat out of Madrid but easily...

It is basically a new town somewhat out of Madrid but easily accessible by train. We got off at the wrong station (maybe they could include the closest station in their description) and had to catch a cab, whereas we could have walked from the nearest station, maybe 10 minutes. There really isn't any thing close by except a massive Chinese shop (love them!) practically next door, and a few minutes walk to a supermarket, plus a coffee shop a little further up the road. Nothing much around for a tourist to see. And, there IS a swimming pool, just remembered! Really can't recommend it for anything, but others would probably have a different view.

This is a pure commercial zone outside of Madrid with a huge shopping centre. There are a few bars located around an artificial lake that are open at night. I stayed there for business reasons. Metro to the city centre goes frequently and takes about 40min

Rivas is a town in the suburbs of Madrid.

Rivas is a town in the suburbs of Madrid. Very recent explosion of young families and home-owners. Has a wide and good variety of night-life options along with very good choice for restaurants alike. You also can visit the local shopping complex for clothes, supermarkets, restaurants etc. Decathlon too for the sports fans and situated beside natural parks for runners, walker or just a stroll at any time of the day.

Good breakfast, usual European standard.The location of the hotel is good. Parking is included. There is a bus stop nearby. Bus every 20 minutes. Half an hour and you are in Madrid.
