Very good roadside motel, the perfect option if you are traveling and you don't want to drive inside the city. Lovely place for a disconnect from the usual daily grind. Warm staff, lovely facilities, fantastic chef for our lunch meal (seriously, the highlight of the stay, unexpectedly good meal for such a small place!), nice wines, peace and quiet, what more can you ask for. There are only 8 rooms, all in the same building and facing vineyards. We got one of the two suites which are bigger but it seemed the other rooms were also very nice, just a bit smaller (also had a small outside terrace and views on the vines).

A truly unique and heartwarming stay! We chose Hotel Los Canilleros for a one-night stay during our visit to the Requena wine festival, and it completely exceeded all our expectations. This beautiful 19th-century building is located right in the heart of Requena's historic old town. Stepping inside felt like a journey back in time, with an incredible atmosphere. The owners have clearly poured their heart and soul into every detail to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Our room was small but incredibly cozy, equipped with all the modern amenities we needed. The breakfast was a real treat, featuring delicious local delicacies. The staff were exceptionally attentive and courteous. We particularly have to mention Senior Juan, who looked after us with the care of a father. You truly don't feel like you're in a hotel, but rather as if you're a guest visiting family. We would gladly return here again.

Right in the heart of the old town centre. Tricky but fun to drive to. It was above expectation for a town the age of Requena. We are not fussy about the little things with places. The clothes washing machine was appreciated. Modern yet old world comes together nicely. A firm thumbs up for a two star accommodation.

We were just stopping overnight on a long road trip and didn't realize what a gem Requena was. We wished we had booked some winery cave tours in advance. The town has tiny streets and so much charm!

We visited for a visit to bodega Murviedro.

We visited for a visit to bodega Murviedro. The hotel Los Canilleros was wonderful, round the corner from the Bodega and a lovely square with great places to eat and drink. One night and 2 days and everything was fantastic.

Requena is a lovely town with a medieval centre.

Requena is a lovely town with a medieval centre. It's an ideal place to base yourself for visiting the wine producers many of who do tours. Murviedro, a top wine producer, have a visitors centre right in the middle of town which is well worth a visit. There are many places to eat and drink and you can get to Requena from València by train or bus in a couple of hours We went to a fantastic restaurant called La Dispensa de Sofia which turned out to be a favourite with many if the local winemakers, who we ended up having a drink with!

We stayed in the old town for 3 nights. 2 nights might be...

We stayed in the old town for 3 nights. 2 nights might be enough for some. We pre-booked a wine tour of one of the many vineyards locally. There are limited facilities in the old town. 2 small hotels with restaurants and many Casa Rurals/bed and breakfasts. Maybe a couple of other eating establishments (which were closed when we were there mid week). No food shops and only one or two places to buy/taste wine. The new town is unremarkable but only a short walk away as are other cafes and bars.

Everything was perfect, The first time I stayed there and told my family it was a Motel they were horrified. Then I explained how it was. Very clean , safe, and the food was amazing. I would highly recomend the Hotel Motel Sol 11

We loved this winery hotel! It’s set among the vineyards and the buildings are beautiful. The garden is also well designed. The rooms are very comfy and beautiful. The food in the restaurant is amazing! We had a delicious lunch. And in the evening we ate something in the wine bar which was great too. And last but not least, the organic wines were also delicious. The guy at the wine store was very enthusiastic.

Owners make you feel like home. Calm place, not far from the highway but far enough to enjoy the silence and rest before continuing the trip. Great value for money. We were traveling with dogs and no extra charges were taken. Just a few minutes ride from Requena. We will definitely return.

Ca La Abuela is a lovely refurbished house right in the old town of Requena. Very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen including oils spices tea coffee etc. It was an ideal base for the nearby Tomatina in Buñol. Álvaro was most helpful.
