The time spent at the hotel was wonderful. The hostess was very accommodating and helpful in all matters. Also all the staff are very friendly. The interior of the hotel is just magical. Would recommend the full breakfast which helps a lot in the morning. The location of the hotel is very convenient to get to the beach and the city center does not take 10 minutes to walk. The room was very spacious, importantly there is air conditioning and even a bathroom. Each room has its own balcony where you can relax nicely overlooking the garden with palm. We loved our stay in this attractive and well located hotel. Our enjoyment began when we were warmly welcomed by the congenial concierge at check in and we appreciated his sense of humour in subsequent chats. The large and easily accessed, gated parking yard was very convenient. Our room was comfortable and looked out on a marvellous square contains a playing area for children surrounded by excellent tapas bars. We spent every evening eating and drinking there while being thoroughly entertained watching the antics of the children. Then when we retreated to our room the excellent sound proofing meant we couldn’t hear any significant noise. We also enjoyed the wide array of delicious food around breakfast. We found little town of L’Ametlla de Mar to be one of the most charming places we’ve visited in 30 years of European travel and we are keen to return to both the town and this excellent hotel.
