Beautiful ex-monastery, way up high in wild country with birds, wild boar, and apparently even wolves.. Delicious breakfast, pleasant simple supper if you ask before you get there. And delightful young couple running it. Perfect for us but don’t go if you’re not happy with proper remoteness.

This fascinating property had been lovingly restored and modernised by the most delightful couple. Lots of old stone, artefacts from the grounds had been thoughtfully refashioned, all alongside modern furnishings. It felt quite a privilege to be enjoying this Old building which had had new life breathed into it. We had a very tasty 3 course dinner and breakfast was truly excellent. I could not recommend this delightful property more highly. Just sad that we will probably never travel this road again. The owners spent time chatting to us telling us about the renovation journey and we left feeling as though we were old friends.

Everything was fabulous! Starting from the reception…We were so warmly welcomed. Service, atmosphere, every detail was filled with love. The owners are so passionate about antique decorations and the hotel is decorated with enormous taste! Food in the restaurant exceeded expectations!
