A high point of our Camino stays. This property is historic, lovingly and beautiful restored, and simply wonderful. Our room was large, impeccable, and with a lovely bathroom. Big windows opened up on the bucolic property. Sunset is beautiful here. Note: This property is not near the Camino, but it's easy to get here by cab. We got in late, were hungry, and thankfully, they made a charcuterie plate with wine. Delicious! Breakfast was lovely. In the morning, they helped us get a cab which was much appreciated! Quinta de Villanueva goes above and beyond, and we were so appreciative!

Great hotel, great breakfast, nice restaurant (that serves dinner starting at 6:00pm!!!!), very warm rooms to get things dried - and even a washing machine + dryer in the basement. Very helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast.

Great Posada, nice breakfast, I got a diner served in the evening. Bit of a strange doors-opening system with the code, but that system even worked during the power-outage in Spain. Great outdoor-terrace - could dry there shirt and socks from the Camino within an hour.

We booked two rooms but when we arrived we were told that all three adults would need to stay in one room. We were not happy and will NEVER book this hotel again. They did not contact us nor offer alternatives until we insisted. AVOID!!

A charming village.

A charming village. I always go in August, so I can't comment on other times of the year. It's true that it's been getting more and more crowded in the last two years. It used to be more charming, back when it wasn't so well-known... but it's definitely worth a visit. Cantabria in general, and especially its coast, is beautiful.

I traveled during the off-season, and almost everything was closed. Except for the weekend, when the village shop and the bars/restaurants finally opened. I'm sure the village is much livelier during peak season. However, the village is very well located in relation to the thousands of places and towns nearby that are worth exploring.

Not recommended at all.

Not recommended at all. Overpriced for a basic campsite, with long queues for the toilets and showers. Breakfast at the campsite is impossible; you have to wait an hour. The toilets are appalling and far away. They don't change the towels.

Small village. Quiet. Nice houses.

Small village. Quiet. Nice houses. Good for summer, but from September 10th to 17th, is it already low season? There are far fewer restaurants and bars open and for shorter hours. On Mondays, one is open until midday and none in the evening. Good for excursions and nearby beaches.

Wonderful place. Spectacular views.

Wonderful place. Spectacular views. A visit to the viewpoint is a must. There are plenty of signs pointing to places of interest. There are 3 or 4 places to eat lunch or dinner. There's also a small supermarket. Once you leave the motorway, the access road to Pechon is a typical coastal road. We'll definitely be back.

Pechón is a nice place to spend a couple of days, a peaceful town with a nice beach. The location is fantastic with beaches nearby, and very well connected to move around and visit other areas of Cantabria. Amazing view from the room, comfortable beds. A cozy place, very well maintained and very clean. Free parking in front of the accommodation. Friendly owner. Highly recommended. It does not have a restaurant but there are good affordable options nearby (there is a good restaurant at 3 min walk were you can have dinner).

This property is great value for money. Nice staff, good location near the beach and in a small village. The rooms are clean. They offer a good breakfast. There are several restaurants near the hotel. I think the rating of this propriety is higher than the current one. For a 2 star hotel, it is an excelente choice.

Had a fantastic stay here at Posada Fuentedevilla! Staff were lovely and the hotel room was great too. Had a lovely balcony which with amazing views. Would recommend this hotel and would stay again!
