It’s a total value for money! The separate balcony with an amazing view, big bathroom and cozy bed with 2 heaters just made my day! I didn’t expect all this at such a low price! The host is also very sweet. Actually I had no plans to stay at Ourense but had no trains available so I had to, I was totally exhausted but as soon as I entered the room, my mood was elevated. The view from the balcony got me interested to explore the city & I found it’s amazing river Minho, the park, geothermal hot springs and the history of this city!
It’s a very good place to stay. 🩷 TV, wifi, heaters, everything is good!

A lovely place especially as it was just before Christmas...
A lovely place especially as it was just before Christmas and the place was lit up. The people were great.Reindeer pulling Santa’s slay was a huge surprise. We didn’t go to the thermal pools, one was being refurbished, one was flooded due to the river being high and the other didn’t appeal.

Very difficult town to navigate as buildings are many stories high so no visual points of reference. Also if driving most streets are one way. It took us ages to find our hotel despite SatNav. We only stopped one night and where happy to move on.

We stopped for one night along a trip from Vigo to Astorga to experience the thermal springs. In the morning we bought towels at the Bazaar down the street, ate breakfast and headed to Outariz parking. A short walk to the pedestrian bridge over the Miño river got us to the free termals. It was very nice. We will be back!

Ourense was okay.
Ourense was okay. You heard a lot of noice in the appartment, the traffic light for pedestrians sounded like an alarm, very annoying. Also the appartment had a very unnice smell. The checking in and out was not easy, we received 4 keys, and the parking of the car was only possible from the moment of the check in.

The best bit about Ourense is the thermal springs.
The best bit about Ourense is the thermal springs. Some are free and some are paid for. We went to the free ones at Chasqueveira. You can walk from town. Just take your costume and a towel and you can leave them on the edge while you have a dip. Go anytime. We have just been on a chilly, cloudy late September weekend and they are fantastic. Well worth going.
I liked that it was more a walk-up apartment than hotel room. Had a nice lobby, elevator and good sized rooms. I especially liked the enclosed balcony sitting area overlooking the street. Nice bathroom with small shower. Area near university with laundry, market, bars and restaurants all within a block or two -- good selections.
The staff and host are great people, good communicators, and kind and helpful. I stayed a month and would do it again without question.
The apartment was big, clean, and very comfortable in a quiet location. We had a terrace that extended the space a lot. The kitchen was small, but adequate for our needs.
Check-in at the nearby hotel was convenient and easy.
The location was very good, a short walk from the old town and on a main street leading to the train station (which was a bit of a walk). There was a good grocery nearby and many places to eat (one next door to the entrance).
Location is great, having a cafe onsite -- and it's a pretty good one -- is nice. I've stayed here many times over the last 7 years, typically before and/or after a Camino, and I really like it. It's basic but clean and great staff at front desk. Beds are better than average. Ourense is a fine city and Galicians are great people. You can't go wrong for a night or two while catching a hot spring and enjoying the many sites along the river.
The location of the property is centrally located near Ourense’s shops and attractions. Everything was conveniently set up (access & parking) from the movement we arrived to the moment we left. In addition, the manager provided a list of recommendations and tips to make the most of our stay (restaurants, hot springs, etc). Finally, the management provided many nice touches that made the stay special.
The hotel is modern, clean, comfortable, and well located for visiting the historic section of Ourense. We were impressed with the attention to detail in decoration and comfort. The weather was cold and cloudy, but the room was nice and comfortably warm. The hotel is located on a quiet street, so even though our room faced the street, it was not at all noisy.
This is a great property. It is well located in Ourense for the shops and bars, without being noisy at night. The owner even provided a safe car parking space for us next door. It had a balcony which meant we had views over Ourense and could chill out in the afternoon before going out in the evening.
Great location, clean room and facitlies and most of all Sandra is the star of this hotel. She helped us find bikes to rent. Although she couldn't find any, we ended up buying bikes. Sandra took her time to help us with all our needs. She needs to get a raise! We really liked her.
The breakfast was amazing, lots of choice. Fresh fruit, fresh pastries and fresh orange juice!
Location of the hotel was brilliant. It was just a short walk to the Cathedral and all the restaurants. Lots to do in ourense, particularly good were the thermal pools.
Excellent choice for breakfast & offered alternative food for dietary requirements. Very friendly, accommodating staff. A large, comfortable room, tastefully decorated. Hotel well situated near the centre of town with easy access to all areas.
Beautiful room, lovely bathroom, lovely toiletries. Well equipped bedroom. Comfortable bed. Quiet hotel.excellent choice for breakfast. We got an unexpected room upgrade, and a voucher for a free drink! What's not to like.
This was the cheapest hotel I stayed in and the facilities were good for the price. It was helpful that the reception stayed open till 21.00 as I arrived late. The hotel was conveniently close to the railway station.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Oddly the map app on our iphone indicated that the hotel is permanently closed, which was an error.
We had a lovely room facing the river.
