We liked the facility, a historical building with some modern upgrades and interesting decorations. Free parking was available. The rooms were comfy and clean. The restaurant is located in the same building and is tastefully decorated in an Art Noveau style. The dinner was exceptional and exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet was good and had choices suitable for a ketogenic diet. We will certainly stay here again.

Great base for exploring the mountains and the local history. Plenty of hiking trails for all abilities. In the evening the tourists have left for the day so you can stroll through the streets as if it was a ghost town.

I wouldn't stay here as a holiday destination but as a stop...

I wouldn't stay here as a holiday destination but as a stop over on the way to the ferry it was perfect. The hotel was right on the main road but the traffic was light and stopped at night and there were eagles circling the hill opposite. There was a car park nearly opposite. The main square in Ona was quite nice with an enormous monastery. Not a place you'd want to spend much time in unless it was as a base for day trips.

We loved everything!

We loved everything! Not a single complaint about anything or anyone. We had lunch and dinner one day at Janfry and honestly, both the food and the service were fantastic. We also had dinner one night at El Deportivo and it was the same. There was only one place where the food was delicious but the service left something to be desired; they served us far too quickly... order, eat, pay, total 20 minutes. I'll keep the name to myself.

We planned a stop in Oña to visit its fantastic Monastery of El Salvador, but unfortunately, their website didn't mention it was closed for holidays, so we had to settle for a visit to the gardens. What a shame! We'll have to come back another time to visit it.

The village is charming, with a sunny square perfect for a drink, three bars for tapas and/or dinner, and a beautiful monastery surrounded by stunning gardens. Just outside the village, there's a lovely riverside walk that's simply breathtaking—the greenery is simply breathtaking!

A very peaceful, family-friendly village.

A very peaceful, family-friendly village. Beautiful architecture. The Resin Tower has a free but very interesting and educational exhibition for both children and adults. Small shops selling local products. Plenty of walks in the village and surrounding area.

We chose the location for the distance to the ferry the next day but what a great place! It's a small town, but was really busy when we arrived on a Sunday. The owner let us park the motorbike in his garage. The bar/restaurant attached to the hotel was great. And what a fantastic ride to get there, with amazing mountain views!

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely old building opposite a monastery. Ramon the owner could not have been more helpful - he served us a lovely dinner one night even though the restaurant was closed - thank you Ramon, you are a very kind man!
