The place is run by a huge personality, Sra Isabel, who takes care about everything, and has even painted the room walls using beautiful motifs. The bar is nice and the restaurant outstanding. Also the rooms are nice and warm. And there is really a lot to do in the area. A warm recommendation to Senõra Isabel and O Pelleiro do Pe do Forno ❣️

Everything! From the moment that I was welcomed in the front door. I was treated like a person of great importance. I loved the building, my bedroom, the external eating room and its quirky decorating. The food was delicious and filling- home cooked typical Spanish dishes for the area. Amazing location next to the old mines. This is a very traditional and beautiful building with a lot of parking space around. The key collection was very good with the code provided for the little storage box. Breakfast is included. There is a dinner option and you have to let them know in advance that you want to eat there. Food is really nice.

The owners were very enthusiastic and interested in ensuring we had a top quality visit to their property and we appreciated their kindness and thoughtful ness. My room had a tremendous view of the mountain scenery and was exceptionally comfortable with a great mattress and bed linen. There was plenty of hot water and the toiletries were very good quality. Breakfast up at the cafe included top quality organic coffee, fresh orange juice and great, homemade bread.
