I had a wonderful night at Luna de Vilar. The place is so great - in the middle of the woods and mountains. The appartement is so nice & cozy and Pilar is the best host you can ask for! ❤️ I hope to come back some time again to enjoy the full experience with the library and watching stars at night ❤️

Beautiful and sympathetically restored farm buildings in a lovely setting in the hills above Castroverde. The outbuildings have also been very creatively renovated to provide some very pleasant spaces to spend time. Many of the original features have been retained in the renovation which adds to the charm. Two excellent, well equipped barbeque areas, one with gas and the other for wood/charcoal. Very friendly and helpful staff, dog friendly. The apartment we stayed in was very modern, comfortable, well equipped, spacious, clean and ideal for what we wanted. Lots of space in the grounds including a jacuzzi. Sauna and Steam room due to be completed soon. Very quiet and tranquil. Great base to explore the area, Castroverde has a very quaint centre with a few nice bars and a restaurant. We had a great trip out to the hill fort and museum at nearby Castro del Viladonga which is well worth a visit. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay again if we are in the area. We wish them every success!!! Perfecto!!!

The facility is very beautiful and well- kept. Clearly there has been a lot of attention to detail and to create a cozy environment. The welcome was professional but warm at the same time. We really appreciated the silence during night hours, our stay was relaxing to say the least! Very good breakfast.
