Clean and professionally run hotel. A very warm welcome and a clean, well appointed room. All staff were excellent and made it a very nice stay. Been to many hotels at this price-point and this was by far the best. Location was also amazing, with a very short walk into the alleys and lanes with tapas bars etc. Would highly recommend.

Firstly, the staff deserve a great deal of praise; they are charming, professional and efficient. They helped us to sort a small problem with a minimum of fuss and no expense, so win-win. The location is good; we tend to walk everywhere and it's an excellent base for exploring Malaga. It is a shortish walk from the train and bus stations and the airport bus stops nearby, just outside el Corte Ingles. The rooms were compact (we stayed before and after a trip to Cadiz) but everything we wanted was there; we could hire a hairdryer or iron for 10 Euros deposit. All perfectly clean and the bed was very comfy. It was an affordable option for us for a couple of nights and worked out just fine.

The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.
There's also rich history underneath the sun and fun. Alcazaba is a Moorish castle from the 11th century and just next to it are the remnants of a Roman Theatre. The white stone tower of the Malaga Cathedral rises up in the heart of the city centre, and offers an interesting respite from sun bathing on the magnificent and popular beaches.
A more modern history can be appreciated by visiting the birthplace of Picasso and a museum full of exhibitions by Malaga’s most famous resident. A more relaxed Spanish city than Madrid and Barcelona, Malaga is still the gateway to the Costa del Sol and the busy Malaga Airport is only 10 km from the centre of town.
From budget hostels to 5-star luxury hotels, with Booking.com you’re sure to find the perfect accommodation for your sunny holiday.
Málaga is great to visit. The climate is perfect, especially in spring time, then it's not too hot, about 25 degrees celsius, combined with a cool breeze from the sea you don't even sweat. The buildings in the city are painted in pastel colors and look well maintained compared to other south european cities I visited. The city is also very clean. From a distant view the city looks wonderful. The harbour area looks also great with the luxury yachts and the many shops and restaurants. There are plenty things to see and do, and most things you can visit by foot from the city center, we hardly used the buses. But if you need a bus, there are enough, and they are cheap. I recommend a tour to Gibraltar by bus (one day trip) and to watch the Málaga sunset from a catamaran.

Malaga as a city that offers wide range of activities like enjoying the beautiful sunny beaches, delicious cuisines fresh vegetables and fruits. Excellent place to shop wide range of brands and budget. Malaga is close to beautiful historical and cultural cities such as Alhambra in Granada, Sevil and Ronda.
The hotel is located few minutes from the Airport and at the cross roads to other cities in the Andalusia region.
However the access road to the hotel is in a very poor condition and very difficult during the night.

Great city to visit with plenty to do and see, but in my opinion not cheap, look for the bars for locals, watch out for “touristic bars” beer varied from €3.90 - €6.00 - G&T from €6.00 - €10.50😱
Trains are great for getting about, either down the coast to Benalmedina & Fuengirola, or inland Andelucia - Alhora, Antequera & Ronda, or trip up to Granada or Seville

We were 4 people and it was a birthday trip for the two of us. We had a great time! Food was absolutely amazing everywhere we ate, so we weren't too concerned about the online ratings of the places. We walked to El Palo and Pedregalejo beach (1.5h walk or you can take the bus). It was a great experience with food, drinks, beach... Water was a bit cold (we were there in May) but still swimmable.
We went to a flamenco show, which was AMAZING! I'd definitely recommend sitting in the front row -definitely worth the money! We also visited the Interactive Music Museum and OXO Videogame museum -- these were really interesting and fun (and different). We also went to a few bars, our favourite one was ZZ PUB -it's live music and rock. The quality of the music was great, but I recommend bringing ear plugs because it's a small area with loud music! :)
The most famous attractions had too many people in line so we didn't do those with tickets, but we were able to walk around and climb up to see things. Other than that, eat all the tapas and paella you can find, and drink all the Tinto de Verano you want! It's really difficult to not like something I think.
Warning -- there are people who walk around and ask you if you want a drink and a shot for x EUR. Be careful with those. We accepted only one of them but the bar and the drinks were really not that great. So for a very cheap price, you get a very early-twentys-age experience.

Liked most the port area and market type shops there and bars and the views. Beach is a nice option in a city. Plenty of historic things to see.
Car and fashion museum very good.
Liked least that restaurants extremely meat oriented. Even tapas ones. Very few options if any for vegan/ vegetarian if you don’t eat dairy products.
Breakfast was enough to choose from and tasted great. Room was very larg, with a comfortable large (king size) bed. Simple furnished, incl. coffee machine and refridgerator. Large bath with plenty of warm water and pressure. The Hotel is within walking distance to downtown Malaga, beach, harbor, ATM, and shopping/restaurants - great location. It was quiet during our stay, and we enjoyed the location and friendly staff. What I thought was interesting is that they contacted me via WhatsApp and provided helpful information.
The hotel is in a nice area of Malaga close to the beach with a lot of facilties around. The old town of Malaga can be reached without any problems. If you like to walk it’s a good 25-30 walk. Other that that uber would cost you 3-4 euros. I think the bus stop is close to the place as well. I have stayed in Malaga few times and this place so far is the best one . If you don’t like much noise from the traffic and want to be by the beach, then definitely book this place. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean.
The house was really great. It was more than well equipped with everything you could even think of.
The rooms and the beds were better than in the luxury hotels. It is easy to park on the streets for free and it is safe. Nice area. The check-out is at 12 which is really nice. I liked also the decoration with the paintings which were original, not a reproduction.
Definitely will come back when in Malaga.
Thanks for everything and for the taking care of our friend.
The hotel is very close to a Renfe station and therefore the airport, it has a very good location also being close to the beach and the old town. The room is clean, I think they even mopped the floor every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel. It is plus that they have luggage storage service. For example my flight left only at 20:30, and I did not have to worry about my luggage after checkout at 12:00.
This hotel is wonderully located - just in the centre of Malaga, a walking distence to Old Town, port, beach etc. The hotels' design is uniquelly pretty and up to date. The rooms are super comfortable and sound proof. I especially liked the small yet meaningfull details like bathrobes, cosmetics provided and a free-standing bathtub that gives you an opportunity to overlook the port and sea while actually taking a bath! Well done!
Great hotel near the Malaga Alameda Centro train station (~20 min train to the airport). We arrived very early, around 11 AM, instead of the standard check-in time - 2 PM, but they gave us a room. The room had enough space for 2 people and had a big bathroom. The WiFi signal was great (we stayed on the 7th floor). Breakfast was great - different types of meats, fruits, drinks, etc. It is only a 15 - 20 mins walk to the beach!
Can't really fault this hotel, the location is excellent for malaga old town and the main commercial street. We didn't take breakfast in the hotel but there are 3 cafes within a 5min walk.
There are also numerous bars in the area too.
The room was very tastefully decorated, well proportioned. The bathroom modern and exceptionally clean. The staff are super helpful and friendly.
Excellent hotel, definitely book.
Great location on the beach, a short walk to the old town with shopping and restaurants, a beautiful hotel, and the staff were amazing. The breakfast was one of the best I've experienced lately with lots of options. The room service menu was reasonably priced for the food quality. We always had enough towels, and housekeeping was great at replenishing what we used up. They would also leave lovely notes for us.
Great hotel, perfectly located close to the old town (so many shops and restaurants nearby) and the see and promenade as well.
The rooftop pool is small but good enough to cool yourself while sunbathing on the rooftop terrace.
The staff is also really nice and helpful.
We'd definitely stay there again in Malaga and would also try out other Room Mate hotels in other locations.
This hotel is perfect for a short stay in Malaga , rooms are small but clean and modern . Staff very friendly and helpful , good air con , great location if you want to be near the train station. 20 min walk to old town and harbour . The roof top terrace is a lovely bonus. the hotel has a personal touch and felt safe for a small city accommodation.
Located in a quiet upscale area of Malaga, this hotel overlooks a beautiful park containing a pond with swans. It is close to an amazing Georgian restaurant (Odissei) and a short ride to the airport. We had hoped to take advantage of our last day walking along the beach but the rain prevented it.
Situated in the heart of the Old Town within walking distance of Malaga’s sights, and with safe underground parking just around the corner, this hotel ticks all the boxes. The friendly staff, the great breakfast and the comfortable room made our stay very pleasant indeed.
Perfect location overlooking Malagueta beach and within easy walking distance of the old town of Malaga and its many restaurants and bars
The bus stop for the airport is an easy 5 minute walk
The apartment itself was well equiped with everything we needed.
This lovely, very clean and comfortable apartment is in a great neighbourhood close to the old town, the harbour and the beach. It is easy to get to from the Malaga Central Station, which runs direct to the airport. A fantastic place.
Front of house staff were superb, excellent location 15 mins walk from Old Town and Marina area, the hotel forms an integral part of Malaga central train station, yet so quiet, perfect for those utilising public transport
The location in the traffic-free old town is just perfect. The staff are the most professional I have ever experienced. I am recommending your hotel to all my friends and acquaintances who planning to visit Málaga.
The hotel is well located for all Malaga has to offer. On the doorstep of the old town and just a short stroll to the marina and onto the beach. The facilities are good although a shame the rooftop bar wasn’t open.
Hotel is in a great location with friendly staff! The revocations are beautiful and furniture so comfortable! We highly recommend this place to anybody visiting. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to old town Malaga!
Perfect location in Malaga only a few hundred meters from the old town and the parade streets.
