Have to say this was better than our expectations. We had done a lot of research and settled on Lava Beach Hotel due to the reviews. Firstly all the staff are great, very friendly and hard working to please everyone. The staff in the bars and restaurants are really attentive and switched on. The food is outstanding with a buffet selection to make your eyes pop… and your belly!... Soo much choice and it tastes amazing. The room was brilliant with more than you could expect. We had a suite over looking the pool and could not fault it. Very clean and packed with lots of nice touches… very luxurious! There are 2 pools and an outside jacuzzi. The bottom pool is only 0.4m in depth with 4 built in jacuzzi style loungers and definitely good fun to use. This was a very tranquil hotel especially around the pool, at times you could hear a pin drop. I think everybody appreciated that. One of the best things is they have a sun lounger policy. You cannot reserve one by dumping things on them before 10am. Either you have to be on it (or obviously in the pool), or they will remove everything. Works a treat! … There are more than enough very comfy sun loungers for everyone all in good positions! A very clean and modern hotel, yet has charm and warmth. There is a lot of attention to detail which if you watch the staff you will see, even using a spoon & fork to place the serviette's on the table. The Spa is great and shouldn't be overlooked as it has some nice facilities of its own. The 60min back and neck treatment I received was incredible.

perfect location, very friendly, such a relaxing time. We barely wanted to leave the hotel, which is not like us at all. Also great to go for a run at the beach in the morning! And there is a great small diving shop and a free diving school in walking distance.

Amazing stay then we had wonderful family time together, prefect room with poorl-view, relaxing vibe with banana trees in front too, perfect professional cleaning standard, the personnel are very friendly very helpful, which is the BEST reason for us ti extend for other week to stay. Highly recommend and appreciate the owner and managers did such perfect hotel hospitality for tourists

We were visiting our son studying in Arrecife so our...

We were visiting our son studying in Arrecife so our situation is a bit different. If I went to Lanzarote as a "tourist" I would certainly avoid Puerto del Carmen and the touristy parts and would rather stay somewhere else. But I absolutely understand if somebody likes the amenities offered by PdC as it is central and much nicer than the tourist hell in for example Tenerife's south.

Really lovely hotel, it was spotlessly clean, all cleaning teams very visible and friendly, reception team were lovely and very helpful, they even organised a gift for my friends son as it was his birthday which was a lovely surprise. Pool was great and again very clean. Lots of chose with food and drinks throughout the day. would recommend this hotel.

This is a great location for a quite holiday.

This is a great location for a quite holiday. No loud bars or clubs , lovely restaurants and bars .Beautiful sunsets every evening. Great accommodation. However. I never got the Taxi I booked through Bookings .com. Apparently the were at the Airport when my flight was leaving Ireland and on at the arrival time. Now I have never had any issue with Bookings.com. BUT I got absolutely no satisfaction what so ever for my complaint. So paid up front for my pick up. Then had to pay again because I had no pick up. I would also like to point out that I contacted the Bookings.com chat support on the morning I was traveling to inform them that the taxi company had mailed me to say they would be collecting me at 2.05pm.This was the flight time from Ireland.They assured me all would be fine. I wont be using the bookings.com taxi service again.

We found all the calm and peace we needed at this cosy...

We found all the calm and peace we needed at this cosy apartment. The location is fantastic: just 5 walking minutes away from a wonderful beach and a shopping area with plenty of restaurants, shops, a small super-market and even a car rental office. The facilities in the apartment are great: everything is brand new and we found everything we needed. The wi-fi connection was surprisingly fast and we could even hold zoom meetings with a quality beyond our expectations!
