Fun and Sun on the Costa Brava
A vibrant Costa Brava resort at the foot of mountains, Lloret de Mar boasts fabulous beaches and plenty to do for all ages. In the town centre are Booking.com’s selection of guest houses, apartments and hotels with pools, while high-rise Lloret de Mar hotels face the town’s 2 beaches – Fenals and Lloret. The latter has a long, tree-lined promenade ending at one of the craggy coves typical of this coastline. The walk up to the cliffs is worth it for the views over the town and Mediterranean Sea.
As Lloret de Mar is only around 30 minutes’ drive from Girona Airport, it’s not long before you can dip your toes in.

Costa Brava and La Selva should be on everyone's holidays...
Costa Brava and La Selva should be on everyone's holidays plans. Lloret de Mar is part of it and I highly recommend hiring a car and visiting around. No matter your age, there is something for you. It has got it all: location, scenery, sea, history, quiet, party, food, people are friendly and it is safe too.

I stayed here on a solo 4-night trip, last week of September 2024. I really liked my stay here. I stayed on the castell side of Lloret and thank god because the other side was a lot louder with a lot of clubs, raves, casino's, fast food (mcdonalds, kfc etc) and that was not the vibe I was going for at all. 4 nights was just the right time for my stay here. Note to solo female travellers: At nightime just keep your wits about you. I got hit on 3 times during my stay, once being by a waiter who asked me to meet him when he finished work. It did ruin it a bit for me, I'm married and not there for that and did make me a little uncomfortable walking the main shopping/restaurant strip after 10pm.

A lovely place - with people of all ages.
A lovely place - with people of all ages. It attracts a lot of younger people, intent on enjoying the nightlife. Good, very close beach and a fantastic structured walk around the cliff edge as you ascend and descend to the nearby village. Lots of steps but so worthwhile. The food was mainly fast food and not particularly nice but we shopped for prepared salad bowls and coupled it with fast food chicken to get some protein. We took the bus from the bus station at the end of the road and travelled to Barcelona one of the days. Very easy.

This is not 4 star hotel, it is quite dirty and rooms and toilets smell! The staff is hit and miss, we did meet couple very nice staff but in general staff is not 4 star level. Main point is this simply cannot ve clasified as a 4 star hotel, it is a proper 2 star. + Nice pools, Couple nice staff members Great location - Dirty rooms Blunt food Not so nice staff members

Amenities are very comfortable and prices for beverages in the hotel are great too. Breakfast is plenty of options and food is super fresh. We also decided to have dinner one night and it was delicious. I forgot my Airpods in my room and the staff promptly helped me to ship back to my house in Czech Republic. Would definitely stay another time if visiting Lloret de mar.
