The house is surrounded by nature, a river runs 100 yards away from it… with basically no one using it… it is quiet, with a couple hiking paths around it, going to the nearest villages, passing a couple Roman bridges. The area can be hot in summer but the hosts did have ventilators in the room. The hosts were extremely welcoming. The night I was there, a couple of “regular” guests was there as well and we all had dinner together, great atmosphere… (please note the hosts only speak Spanish).

The nice location bordering the river. The garden to have a meal or drink. The modernised room and elevator to reach the floor. The very good kitchen. The friendly staff. The lady owner/cook who speaks good english and provides good advice about visiting the beautiful area. Good outdoor parking.

An absolute delight and superb value! There really is too much for my wife and I to inform on the detail of what was so wonderful about our three-night stay. What follows, however, are some important highlights. Reiner was such an accommodating and attentive host. He provided us with incredible insights into, and hand-drawn maps of, the routes and wonderful sites to visit in Ribagorza - and there are many; the oldest cathedral in Spain, for example. The hotel is ideally located near to Graus for just such touring. Our bedroom was very comfortable and well-appointed with tea/coffee-making facilities. Now...the food! Where to begin? The breakfasts were plentiful, of great quality and varied. The evening meals were of a five-star gourmet standard, every night. All were lovingly prepared by Angel - he is an extraordinarily skilful chef and so creative with his ingredients! And the ingredients all were of the highest quality. Imagine a wondrously delicious chocolate basket filled with cherries, not so. It was filled with pumpkin, and the resulting taste was..... stunning! Both Reiner and Angel are passionate providers and users of seasonal locally-sourced and organic foodstuffs, and the beers and wines also are of the highest available quality. In conclusion, we cannot recommend highly enough the facilities and resources provided - and - the bonus of no children, well, hoorah for that! We shall be back for sure!! Lovely hotel/restaurant in a great setting. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms and facilities were very good. The food was excellent. Very satisfied

Lovely big room with sunny balcony. Hot shower, great restaurant that was reasonably priced. Lovely staff.

The Palacio del Obispo hotel was an old bishop's residence, built in the 17th century, which still preserves its original structure and façade.
