Very well planned and renovated rooms with nice shower and quiet and efficient air conditioning (essential in summer). Isabel and her husband care absolutely lovely for their guests and their cooking at night is the perfect finish for the day. We felt extremely welcome. Very close and ideal spot to visit Las Medulas. Great hiking opportunities in the area.

The welcome explanation was cozy. The owners are very friendly. It is strategically located close to the lake and las Médulas. We highly recommend it. Due to the summer fires we had leave earlier than expected but we will come back, for sure!!

I liked the location and the friendliness of the staff. What I didn't like: Firstly, one of the pillows on the bed didn't have a pillowcase; it was necessary to ask for one and put it on the bed; Secondly, there were no toiletries in the bathroom; Thirdly, the dinner was very poorly prepared and of low quality for the price they charged.

We loved it, it was impressive, and there are other great routes to explore as well. The hotel is quiet, in a fantastic location with beautiful views. The food was very good, and the service was excellent, with very friendly staff. The room was spacious, and the bathroom also had a great view. The town is very pretty.

I hadn't imagined it would be such a spectacular place—the setting, the scenery, the location, the beautiful house. Everything about it is so good we'll definitely be back as soon as we have the chance. There are so many nearby places to visit. And the typical Bierzo dishes are delicious.

The Hotel Medulio was perfect; the dinner and the service...

The Hotel Medulio was perfect; the dinner and the service were excellent. However, the service at the Las Médulas Interpretation Center was terrible. The information provided was half-hearted and there was absolutely no information about the caves because they were managed by another company and the center didn't provide that information. The explanations of the routes were awful.

A breathtaking view from the Orellan viewpoint and a walk around the Médulas in a wild landscape with beautiful colors. The red rock stands out proudly in this verdant landscape (all this under a bright sun with a few clouds!).

The cabana exceeded our expectations.

The cabana exceeded our expectations. The fridge was stocked with breakfast, fresh oranges to squeeze, and a fresh baguette every day. It was very clean, with fresh towels and even linens changed daily. The shower was wonderful, and everything worked (TV, microwave, and washing machine). You can sit outside and relax, and the location is right on the edge of the nature park. A fantastic location!

The hotel is very well located and nestled up against the old mine karsts. Rooms are big, the beds comfortable and the shower was good. The rooms decor is very dated but they are clean and have everything you need. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking is on site. The restaurant had a good menu for dinner. Breakfast the next morning was provided and was as expected for Europe.

Location was good, close to las medulas although it was a shame that the balcony from the bedroom was too small to sit and enjoy the view from. The porch faced the bar area rather than the hills and didn't get any sun. Was also covered in bat droppings.
