The hotel is just outside of Ecija, so suited my travel plans. It is on a main road but set well back and otherwise surrounded by countryside so was peaceful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served from 7, and was very nice.

Écija is a beautiful, characterful city and Amphora Alojamento was the perfect place to explore it from. Our room overlooked the adjacent Plazuela de Santa Maria - so beautiful day and night. The staff were exceptional, we were so well looked after. We'd intended to bike on to Córdoba but decided to stay on another night to rest and recoup - Amphora was exactly what we needed.

Halfway between Seville and Córdoba, in the Guadalquivir valley, is this 15th century Franciscan monastery converted into a Destination Hotel.

The guys running the hotel were so helpful. We turned up late in the evening and last minute due to a change of plans and they came down and opened up the place for us. There was a car park to leave bikes in and they even gave us a hose to clean them down.
