A decent dorm in an elegant building close to great sights. The metro subway ran directly beneath the building, every ten minutes or so. Whole lot of shaking going on.

Very clean and bright. The receptionist was also very bright and bubbly - explained the places to see in the town, where to go to get (opening times -essential!) and also informed of cafes were we could discounts if showed where we were staying. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Room overlooked very small courtyard plaza and while I could hear patrons at the cafe until late, it’s all part of the experience of staying in place overlooking a cafe courtyard. You also get bells peeling at Iglesias Santa Maria which is right in front of you. We arrived in the morning and room wasn’t ready. When we came back after lunch, our packs were in our room - nice touch. Wait until you have a shower 😉

The location was ideal in the center of Écija, there was street parking nearby. The layout of the apartment is a bit odd, but allows for quiet sleeping areas for everyone and a big living room with a comfy sofa. The kitchen was great with a new oven, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and cooker.

I have been extensively traveling for more than 5 years now and its rare to meet such genuine and welcoming people. You can see that the place is run by people who enjoy what they do! Also, i didnt intend to stay in La Carlota, but it turned out to be such a charming little place, with all the houses with classic Andalusian architecture and a lot of family owned restaurants and bars on the main street, such a lovely vibrant town! I cant recommend this enough, im gonna come back whenever i pass by Córdoba again!

This modern hotel is located just behind a petrol station and lorry stop. It is quiet, comfortable and next door to a bar/restaurant open all hours with good vibes and a cheery staff. We stopped here on our way back to the UK. And unexpectedly loved it. Great coffee. And hamburgers served with surgical gloves should you want to pick them up!

The staff were all friendly and very welcoming. We are on a cycle touring trip and we even had our bikes taken into the hotel for us. As we were obviously from overseas we were given samples of local produce to try with our meal as the waitress wanted us to try them. The stay was an alround great experience.

The apartment is simple but has everything needed for a short stay. We used it as a base to visit Cordoba, which is about 30 km away. Parking in La Carlota is easy and free. There are bars and restaurants available for meals if needed.
