The hotel is marvellous. A medieval fairy tale. We stayed overnight with children. They were very enthusiastic of photo shooting in medieval dresses. The owner is very friendly and has enormous knowledge of the history of the Region and tourist routes. I would highly recommend this hotel

The room was immaculate, clean, newly refurbished and spacious. The whole building was the same. One of the nicest and best value rooms I've stayed in. Had a very peaceful and comfortable nights sleep. Close to bars and restaurants too. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

A beautiful and historic house just 5 minutes' walk from the Plaza Mayor in Almagro, extremely comfortable and tastefully renovated in traditional style. Lorena, the host, was fantastic - helpful, informative and very welcoming to us and our dogs. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, fridge, coffee machine and a good shower in the en suite. Stepping though the front entrance into the main courtyard you enter a private place of peace, space and tranquility, getting an insight into how people have lived in these houses for several centuries. Breakfast was plentiful and varied - great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice, wide selection of breads and pastries plus cheeses and meats, homemade tomato puree, local organic olive oil, fresh fruits etc as well as the usual cereals, yoghurts etc.

Set in an 18th-century house full of historic charm, Hotel Rural Tia Pilar has a small outdoor swimming pool.
