We liked the place a lot. Location close to A7 and beach, but quiet. The dining table outside. Pool - clean and not crowded at all in March, the common yard, electrical fireplace, armchair etc. New shower. Very well equipped kitchen - everything that was listed in the description was there and a lot more of little things. A parking place was available all the time. Good WiFi. Really nice and helpful hosts.

The penthouse is very clean, nicely decorated and feels very spacious with its 8 beds and 3 floors. Fully equipped with everything you need. The sunroof (with outside shower!) is amazing. We had some great nights at the bar there. It has a good location with nice views and hiking and cycling possibilities around the mountains and its very close to the beach and center of La Cala de Mijas. Just one road, less than 5 minute drive! Its close to many other great places to visit like Marbella and Malaga. We also played Golf at walking distance! Will definitely come back here!

Very clean, modernised and extremely comfortable holiday home. Loads of space and many useful facilities including washing machine,tumble dryer, dishwasher and gas bbq. Anna and Tomas were very welcoming and we had a bottle of bubbly plus beers and cold drinks awaiting us… the owners were so welcoming to us.
The location was perfect for walking access to the beach, local restaurants and the town of La Cala. An amazing find 😁☀️😎

Post covid La Cala is quite expensive.
Post covid La Cala is quite expensive. If you are looking for a good meal for a good price, it is worth taking a trip to La Cala Hills. That said we enjoyed our trip and love to see how the village is developing and changing. It is a smallish resort with a very nice relaxing atmosphere. There were plenty of varied restaurants of a decent standard to choose from. Good access by cheap bus or taxi to other coastal resorts such as Marbella and Fuengirola.

A charming town close to the airport, only 30 minutes away. Beautiful beach, restaurants and shops by the beach. we enjoyed the walking and cycling path along the beach. People are very friendly, smiling and helpful. In May, the temperature was perfect, we returned home, very tanned and saturated with sunlight. A very good point to visit Andalusia, I recommend Ronda and Calminito del Rey ♥️ We must come back here, there are many places to see!Nadia Kuczynska - 10Scored 10
A lovely coastal working town with a large choice of...
A lovely coastal working town with a large choice of excellent restaurants, coffee shops and bars. There is a market every Wednesday and Saturday and small stalls in the town during high season. We enjoy long walks along the boardwalk which has numerous places to stop for refreshments and admire beautiful beaches and sea views. Easy access to bus routes to Marbella or Fuengirola. Mijas is so beautiful.
Mijas is so beautiful. The beach is lovely the restaurants are lovely and the outside bars are lovely too. We ate at El Olivo and that was a fantastic restaurant. We also ate at Johnny’s and the food and service was so good. There is also a little cafe near the hotel called Sensi Pino Cafe and the tapas were only 2.50 euros for a small plate and the wine was 3 euros. This was a fabulous find but shuts at 4pm. Fantastic value and excellent service. We will definitely be returning

We visited La Cala de Mijas in March so it was fairly quiet and the bars and restaurants closed quite early. It’s a pretty resort with quaint streets and not built up like neighbouring Fuengirola. The sea front is picturesque with an excellent beach. There are some lovely restaurants, we particularly liked Figaro and Bsweet, an excellent bakery, good for breakfast. The resort is well situated and not far from Marbella and Benalmádena, both accessible by bus or taxi.PamUnited Kingdom

Easy access by foot to a couple of supermarkets, shops and bars/restaurants. We got the train and then the bus from the airport, the bus stops are right outside the hotel. You can walk to the Dona Lola resort along the boardwalk where there are more bars and restaurants.
