We had the most incredible stay at Steve and Launa’s beautiful apartment in Alcaudete. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us like family—warm, generous, and genuinely kind. They went above and beyond in every way, even picking us up and dropping us off at the bus, which made our trip so much smoother. The apartment itself is a dream—newly renovated with charming traditional Spanish tiles that give it so much character. It’s both stylish and comfortable, with every detail carefully considered. From the TV, books, maps and file of recommendations to the air conditioning, first aid kit and washing machine, they have thought of everything you need. The courtyard is absolutely lovely, with an indoor BBQ area perfect for relaxing. Steve and Launa had stocked the place with thoughtful touches—water, tea, coffee, biscuits, and muffins—everything you could need to feel at home right away. The view of the castle and town from the front of the apartment is absolutely breathtaking. They also gave us fantastic local recommendations and advice that helped us make the most of our stay. They are two of the kindest people that you will ever meet. Staying here felt less like booking accommodation and more like visiting friends. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be back. Thank you, Steve and Launa, for an unforgettable experience!

It’s a ten from me. The owner is very accommodating and a bit of a character I’d say. The space around the toilet was a bit lacking but hey, I had a great nights sleep. Lunch was excellent and super value too. I’m just sure what time they stop serving but I sat down just after 3pm and was last to do so. A great choice for a night on The Camino Mozárabe.
