Stylish, typical Lanzarote house (not the white one, the one covered with lava stones), furnished traditionally with the Canarian wooden furnitures, with the huge window connecting your living space with the external cacti garden planted in black lava (Cesar Manrique style), full of books and superb atmosphere, located on the slope of Corona volcano. Quiet, just you and wild nature of volcanic blackness, wind and blue of Atlantic in a distance, at your feet. Very friendly, helpful and 100% discreet owner (thank you, Roderick).

Very cleen, perfect view, very nice apartment, quiet location. Apartment has wonderful view on volcano and you can also see sea on both sides of island. We was there with family in February. Air condition can be turned into heating mode, also two provided heaters were welcome. Village Ye is small but nice, has mini shop and restaurant.

We have been coming to the area since 2015, therefore the area, village etc is well known to us. We travel here twice a year which says a lot for the place. Peace, tranquility and a safe location is the reason for us returning time and time again. This was the first time we had stayed at Casa Aloe and we found it as we expected and have booked two more consecutive stays at the Casa this and next year. The host and on site contacts were extremely friendly, quick to help and gave advice when needed. The Casa was home from home in many ways.

Haria is a quiet village but with enough restaurants,...

Haria is a quiet village but with enough restaurants, supermarkets and everything else you would need for a two week stay. It's a short drive from the airport and to several beaches. If you like a quieter more relaxed holiday then would definitely recommend it.

A lovely little town that reminds of a bygone era.

A lovely little town that reminds of a bygone era. Charming and full of character, up the hills at the footsteps of the Volcan de la Corona, the closest nearby volcano (also an attraction worth a visit). There are several restaurants and tapa bars but not all are open at all times. La Puerta Verde was our main go to place for nightly meals, while Tacande is your stop for a more sophisticated, contemporary meal. If you happen to travel through Haría around third week of June, make sure to pay a visit to the town centre for the San Juan festival - a unique leap into the past.

Haria has some great restaurants for example Tacande (Michelin listed) and the Sociedad (great homecooked food at great prices). Some other great eating places are not so obvious like the fantastic Mercado Municipal slightly out of town. Haria is very busy in the day (visitors) but very quiet in the evenings so don't expect nightlife! The location is great - the Manrique house on your doorstep, a good beach minutes drive away in Arrieta, attractions like the Jameos del Agua and the Jardin de Cactus also minutes drive away, and a short drive to Orzola for the ferry to the amazing la Graciosa! The local bus service runs to everywhere on the island Orzola, Arecife, Arrieta etc but only a few times a day so a car is a definite advantage.

Well away from the busy built up resorts on the south. Only more discerning tourists with hire car venture this far. Interesting little town with museum, small square, few artists with shops and small market on a Saturday morning. Good stop off point when heading to the north for day out.

It's a green beautiful city with thousand palm trees, real oasis in the desert-like Lanzarote. The house of Cezar Manrique is worth visiting. It's also very close to the "Mirador de Rio" of Cezar Manrique, a very unique architectural gem with a marvelous view.

We had visited Haria before but got a much better feel for...

We had visited Haria before but got a much better feel for the place by staying a few days. It is a peaceful Canarian village with a friendly feel. There are good bars and restaurants. We enjoyed local walks with spectacular views and visiting the Cesar Manrique Foundation.
