An amazing place to stay. The apartment was perfect. The terrace was wonderful. The owner was so welcoming and helpful, despite the language barrier. Safe secure parking for our motorbike in the garage. Couldn't fault it. Will definitely return.

The location is excellent, very central, really close to the monastery and with a parking opportunity just beside the building; coming in the low season, we had a parking spot right outside the door. The host is very friendly and helpful, we felt warmly welcome when she came to meet us. Inside, things actually looked if at all nicer than on the photos. Heating the place worked well. Having a full fridge was welcome and we used the opportunity to cook our own dinner on arrival, even though several restaurants were close.

This is a gem of a place! We had a double room with a balcony overlooking the monastery. The staff can not do enough for you, especially the owner, Arturo. He is what made it extra special for us. We also ate here in the evening and for breakfast and the food was fantastic. Cannot fault this place.

Hotel lovely but surrounding cafe restaurants were a little shoddy, a sweep of the streets now and then could go a long way, not alot of variation. Nice shops selling local produce. Recommend Dalboroque lovely little bar selling craft beers and really nice wines get some tapa there too. Run by a lovely young lady named Jessica, well worth a visit and only 2 or 3 minutes from the parador on Calle Gregorio Lopez 3

Guadalupe is a good stop on the way south to Cordoba and Andalucia. Off the beaten track enough to be free of too much traffic although the Black Virgin and the Cathedral attract a lot of visitors. Around the square in front of the Cathedral are many bars, restaurants and little shops. A great place for a coffee and doing some sketching. If staying for a few days you can visit Monfrague and walk in the Sierra de Guadalupe. This is the original of all the Guadalupes around the world.

Guadalupe is a small charming village very much off the beaten track. If like me you are limited in mobility I would advise that you take into account the cobbled nature of the roads & rough flagged sidewalks. And the very steep gradients , cobbled again over which you will have to travel.

A very beautiful monastery. A typical little town! It's a shame the monastery visit was so tightly scheduled. We felt a bit trapped in the middle of groups of 40 people. We felt like hostages to the organization! And it was a shame for the English and French speakers because all the commentary was in Spanish! What we saw was very beautiful, but we didn't like the way the visit was organized!

A charming city with friendly people, excellent food—especially Iberian cured meats, cheeses, and wines—and interesting streets with fascinating buildings and fountains, although some are quite steep. The monastery is spectacular.

Spotless clean. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good location. Very close to those important sightseeing points. This hostel provided practical toiletries set, which is better than many 4 stars hotel, it included teeth brush and paste, mouth wash, sample size cologne for both man and woman...A bottle of red wine as a gift was really a treat!!

This hotel is steeped in history and is located beside the Monastery of Santa Maria. The central courtyard is the best way to unwind and relax with some lunch and a cold drink. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. The pool was amazing, with sun loungers and service too.

ll but very nice place to stay right in the heart of Guadalupe. The venison steak in the restaurant was beautiful. Being on the square in front of the Cathedral meant that there was lots to see. The lock-up garage up a side street was handy for the bikes.

DIY breakfast with stove top coffee machine. Plenty of food. Stunning location overlooking Guadalupe. Covered veranda to park motorcycle. In retrospect, I should have stayed an extra night.
