Gáldar was a lovely traditional Spanish town with a strong sense of community and friendly residents. It felt very safe to walk around. There were plenty of places to visit and bars, cafes and restaurants in which to eat or drink. The main square was a hive of activity and the hub of the community.

Galdar is a fascinating town with a beautiful centre containing many shops, a market, lots of cafés, bars and restaurants, a play area, museums and a huge, traditional church. The local people are really friendly, helpful and polite.

Very friendly and helpful owner/manager. Seafront location is great with large picture window in the living room giving a spectacular sea view of the Atlantic rollers and the surfers. Sea water swimming pool right outside and sandy beach about 200m away. Fast 5G internet wifi included. Peaceful location with only one bar and one restaurant on the see front. Pretty town of Galdar is 30 minute walk away.

I liked the authenticity and history of the house. The room is small, but comfortable and clean. There is a kitchen in the courtyard where water, fruit and snacks are offered - thank you! A kettle and a microwave, no other cooking options. Perfect location, you can park in the street or in a cheap carpark up the street. Walking distance to Galdar or even natural pools - 30 min.

Hotel is stylish and in a perfect location. On two separate occasions the cleaning staff were super-helpful - one helped with getting luggage in and out of the lift, another helped with luggage storage at check-out when the receptionist had locked up and gone to buy elevenses.

Ideal for a 1-night stop (I was walking the camino de santiago trail that crosses the island and needed a night in Galdar), but I imagine it would work as a location to explore the north coast too. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
