Wow! What a wonderful trip! As a group of 4 girls, we stayed for two nights at Leiro Residences. The property is beautiful and the hotel resort is very big with plenty of food options and swimming pool options. The gym is state of the art. We loved the room with jacuzzi on the terrace. The terrace was a lovely size with couches, dining area and large circular lounger. The sink/ dressing table area in the room is wonderful. All of us could get ready at the same time. The staff were wonderful. Thank you to Roman, Samantha, Yasmina and Paula. We were made to feel so welcome from the very beginning and nothing was too much trouble. They booked us in for a meal at the beach club our first afternoon, a wonderful Michelin dinner with live music for our first night finishing off with cocktails at the infinity pool bar on the top floor of the hotel, spa time on Saturday and Sunday, recommendations in Malaga for Saturday night, taxi to the airport… the list goes on. And always with a warm smile. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect, the food was so good! The room and the view where perfect, the beds are really comfortable. The staff was so friendly and made me feel very welcome! The transfer back to the airport that I booked at the front desk was also perfect. As a female solo traveler I felt completely safe and comfortable staying here. Great beaches and we did plenty of snorkelling. Lovely long promenade so you could walk as much or as little as you wanted. Some areas were lively and others more quiet so there is something for everyone. Great variety of restaurants and entertainment for different budgets. Train line is fantastic value for money. There is also a ferry to Benalmadena and we also took a bus to Marbella so very accessible for other resorts. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

Good base in the winter for winter sun.

Good base in the winter for winter sun. The seafront is nicely paved and so you can walk for about 3 hours all the way along and back. Also now you can walk to Benalmadena and indeed all the way to the other end of Torremolinos so if you like walking then this is ideal. Good transport links - train and buses, airport only about 20 mins by train. Buses to Marbella and Mijas. Plenty of shops and bars and restaurants. Large weekly market.

You can find exactly what you want here.

You can find exactly what you want here. If you want the quiet life you can and take in some fantastic restaurants and bars. However if you want the night life you can head further into Fuengirola for that. I liked going out in the day and leaving the night life to the youngsters. Beaches are really nice and they are cleaned every night. You can find anything you want to do around the area, depending on how far you wish to travel.

It's a fun town with little or no trouble.

It's a fun town with little or no trouble. The first thing you notice when you arrive is how clean the town is with workers constantly keeping it clean. There are local and eclectic bars and restaurants along the front and the back streets which are well worth exploring. The transport network of buses trains ferries and taxis mean you can also explore the wider area of southern Spain. Don't waste the opportunity.!!! I must also add a personal thank you to the medical team at the local A&E unit who swifty and professionally dealt with a health issue i had the last time i was there. Finally the Mayor and her team need to be congratulated for keeping Fuengirola as a safe and happy place to visit.

Fuengirola is great for people looking to relax with lovely beaches, a mix of Spanish & Irish bars & cheaper than neighbouring towns. Also a great place for older people. Saw quite a few scooters as it’s quite flat. For younger people Torremolinos might suit better as it’s bigger.

A fab town with something for everyone, we were on holiday with my 83 year old father in law and the accommodation was perfect in los boliches. Amazing restaurants and bars x All the restaurants are great, sandpipers, Dominique’s, primavera…and others.

Lovely old Colonial Style hotel perfectly situated on the beachfront away from the hubbub of Fuengirola town but still close enough to walk to. Nice facilities of plentiful sun loungers around the outdoor pools, Breakfast was good and plentiful with a good variety of food to suit all tastes. We ate in the Buffet restaurant and there was a good selection of main meals on offer. Staff were helpful and the room cleaned each day.
