Traditional house, in a special historical village. Yes, the room was small, as expected in a village house of this age! Our room had a terrace with great views. We did two great walks straight from the door.
We were welcomed warmly and had a nice breakfast before we left. We will stay again.

It was great value for money, in a convenient location for us as we were attending a wedding at La Roca Rara nearby, and also just 10 min drive to the beach. the outdoor area and views of the coast are lovely.
Set in Frigiliana in the Andalucía region, La Casa Turquesa-Original features a balcony. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a terrace.

Typical white-painted country house, almost complete quietude with a view of the hills. Quaint, interior but clean. Comfort only fair. Air-con in dining room. Charming, owner, Sodrine, who welcomed us with some home- grown veg.and courtesy tea bags.( She was 'cool' when we had an unfortunate accident with the parasol which broke.)
Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a private pool, La Monticana is set in Frigiliana. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge.

Host is lovely and very helpful plus being a great communicator. Fabulous views and very peaceful. Comfy beds, great WiFi, all mod-cons. Near the town but far enough away too!

A town most tourist visit for one day turns out to be an idyllic home base to visit the sights. Beach within car distance/great bus service. Fabulous restaurants but quiet feel and great views. Hiking in the area is lovely but good condition and shoes required
Would absolutely recommend to stay on frigiliana rather than the seaside town of Nerja.
Eat in El Casino rooftop terrace or La taberna de sachristan across the church for amazing quality food.

A pretty village with plenty of shops and particularly good restaurants.. Stunning views. good access to motorway so travelling around is easy, but also has walking trails.
Close enough to the coast for beach lovers, although the beaches are grey and gritty.

A beautiful village with opportunities for hiking and more gentle walks. Rich history to be discovered for the curious. I walked in the canyon to the east of the village and hiked up to Pinto de Cruz - a nearby hill with exceptional panoramic views. Also enjoyed a walk up to the remains of the Muslim castle above Frigiliana, which also had amazing views. I didn't eat out but I enjoyed an aperitif with olives and cheese in a friendly bar in the village most evenings.

Frigiliana is a beautiful Pueblo Blanco.
Frigiliana is a beautiful Pueblo Blanco. The town is inland and fairly high up...but it's an easy drive to get there. Frigiliana is full of history with tiny winding car free streets, surrounded by gorgeous views and pine trees and deep ravines. There are beautiful churches, gorgeous restaurants and loads of small tucked away pubs. I recommend taking the footpath to the top of the hill behind the village...if you're fit and able and have a head for heights....some parts have a sheer drop. You will walk through amazing flora. The top has a ruined castle built by the Moors around 700AD, and incredibly they installed a hydraulic water system taking spring water down to the village. Walking back down takes you through beautiful gardens with incredible flowers....finally arriving at a beautiful bar with incredible views of the mountains and sea.

A beautiful little town wjth plenty to do and nice bars and restaurants.Interesting local history and spectacular scenery. Some great walks around the town although it is hilly and if you have reduced mobility you could struggle a bit.
Not too far from the coast and a regular bus service runs into Nerja too.A lovely place to stay if you don’t want a typical beach holiday.
Beautiful village. Beautiful architecture.

Very steep! I was aware as I've travelled there before, but persons with limited mobility really need to be aware of this.
Excellent choice of restaurants
Attended the 'Three Cultures Festival'. It did get busy, but I expected this!
This is a lovely little villa in a tiny hamlet high above Frigialana. The owners were very welcoming and the property is fitted out to a very high and attractive standard. There is nice outside space including a small private pool for warmer months. Car parking is just down the lane from the property.
The bar opposite (owned by the same people) is busy and served great food. There is nice walking or cycling straight from the property.
Overall it was the one of the best places I stayed whilst travelling around Spain for 6 weeks.
Nicely decorated, spacious room. Our room had a cute sitting area by the window with a nice view towards the sunset. The roof terrace with pool was very nice and a good place to watch the sunset as well. Unfortunately it was too cold to swim in November but we enjoyed sitting up there in the afternoon. The area where we sat outside for breakfast was also very cute. The location is amazing, right in the middle of historic Frigiliana near many shops, restaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
- nice rustic design, but the rooms haven't been renovated in a while
- good location, close to Nerja (beaches), Frigiliana (nice village) and the motorway
- nice and affordable restaurant (20€ for a 3-course dinner)
- staff is friendly, accomodating and flexible - however, many of the staff speak only limited English, but we got along with a mix of English, Spanish and a bit of German
- wonderful view over hills and sea from both the room balconies and the restaurant terrace
- pool
The location of the hotel is just perfect, it is between Nerja and Frigiliana, also close to the junction to A7 highway.
The view from the rooms is incredible, both from the terrace and from the breakfast area.
The breakfast was good and the hotel staff were very nice and helpful.
Considering the price and what they offer, it is definitely a good choice.
This was quite likely the best B & B we have stayed - ever. Everything, from the room, the host, and the location could not have been any better. Tanya is such a wonderful host and we are so grateful for her guidance and her professionalism. We will return to this wonderful spot! Thank you!
The location is excellent, in the centre of Frigiliana. Unfortunately, there was a lot of rain during my stay on the Easter weekend, it was great to have a fully equipped kitchen to come back to - to make hot drinks. Staff were also very helpful with arranging taxi.
The views are fantastic, really makes you wonder why everyone is so hung up on the coast in Spain. The accommodation (bungalow) and the grounds are quirky. Breakfast was nice enough and the owners were attentive and happy to entertain our terrible Spanish.
Great views from the terrace of the hills, parts of Frigiliana and the ocean. Very quiet surroundings. The host, Laura, was very welcoming and always accessible throughout our stay. We were received with a bottle of wine, ham, cheese and coffee.
The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning. The hotel is situated high up on the mountain range with views of the town of Frigiliana and the Mediterranean Sea below.
The small swimming pool was lovely, with that gorgeous view
Great location. Terrace was relaxing with a view of the coast and hills. Enjoyed the restaurants in the area and lovely streets. Short drive to Nerja and the beaches. Excellent host who has put together lots of useful information.
well 1st the welcome from the owner, she is lovely and very accommodating.
the house wow ! the pool stunning and the view to die for .
lovely little walk up the hill to frigiliana .
all in all the best place we’ve been to .
The apartment was absolutely outstanding in every way. Location was perfect, views amazing and had everything we needed. If I ever visit Frigiliana again, this would be where I’d book! Highly recommended
the property was in an excellent position in the middle of Frigiliana old town close to many restaurants and bars . Everything you need is the house with lovely rooftop area and spa
Room was excellent, beautifully decorated and the fit-out was perfect. The bathroom was excellent too. The location of the hotel is very central in Frigliana.
