Everything was clean and crisp and in good working order. It is obvious that the owner spared no expense in building such a facility . Every necessity provided. Owner was most amiable and eager to please. Many home cooked items offered with good quality of ingredients. Location right on the Camino . Much nicer than going all the way to Triacastela. A little piece of heaven on a rainy day. We were also happy to have laundry facilities available at reasonable cost.

We had just walked for many hours on the Camino de Santiago. It had been raining incessantly and we were soaked through. We had an incredibly warm greeting and a roaring log burner in the corner of the reception room. Our boots were put by the fire to dry out and we took the offer of havingsome laundry done and our clothes dried out in their drier. There was a small additional cost but this was small by comparison to the comfort we got. Snacks and wine were available, again at a very small cost. They even went to the trouble of going out and booking our evening meal in person. I asked where we might by some ponchos for additional; rain protection and by luck, two ponchos had been left by previous pilgrims. we were given them without any quibble. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience and would happily return.

This gorgeous hostel has private rooms with their own...

This gorgeous hostel has private rooms with their own bathrooms and it was well worth the few extra Euros for a restful night in a calm, quiet, peaceful setting. Our room and bed were impeccably clean and comfortable, and the shower was great! The owners were friendly, warmly hospitable and we would have stayed longer if could have.
