I really loved the rather unique design of the hotel, and the attitude of the staff at reception, relaxed and friendly but also very professional and efficient and always ready to help. Everything worked well and was very clean. The grounds are very green and neat with lots of flowering oleanders and other plants and very well looked after. Very nice toiletries provided in the room. The swimming pool is big enough to swim and the water had a nice temperature. The hotel is in a quiet spot and in 5 min walk from the sea, and the atmosphere is quiet and relaxed. The restaurant was great both for breakfast and dinner, the dinner I had was exceptional, they even had even some local wines from Formentera. Not to be missed!

we really enjoyed our stay at mar suites - we loved our room and the staff were all friendly and extremely helpful. in particular, on the last day we had to return our scooter but did not realise the rental shop was closed till 4pm and we had to return to ibiza to catch our flight. the gentleman at the reception helped to speak to the rental shop on the phone and suggested we leave the keys at the hotel reception which they could collect later. this saved us a lot of trouble as waiting till 4pm may have caused us to miss our flight!

Amazing place to stay in formentera. The service is absolutely exceptional and it includes lots of services which are great to have - private parking, beach towels, beach umbrellas, shower facilities on the last day, great breakfast including egg choices. The ladies at reception are super friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back!

Probably the best town on the island, with nice beach, good choice of bars and restaurants and shops. Perfect area for families or couples. Easy access to the rest of the island by car, moped or cycle- everything within 10-15 minutes drive. If you want best value for money choose the bars and restaurants away from the beachfront.

Es Pujols is a bustling town with a very good selection of...

Es Pujols is a bustling town with a very good selection of shops and eating places. It has probably tripled in size since I first visited in 1984. There are market stalls at the beachfront every evening in the high season. Some of the restaurants are very expensive and over priced, but some of the more traditional restaurants are more reasonable. I would avoid staying right in the centre of the town as it could be noisy.

We have been to the island on at least 20 previous visit and know that Es Pujols is the most touristy place on Formentera, but it has a real charm, is great for children and a really good place to base yourself if you visit the island.

Es Pujols is a very touristic town.

Es Pujols is a very touristic town. It is full of hotels, restaurants and tourtist. I found the other towns in Formentera (La Savina, Es Calo, Sant Francesc Xavier) quieter and with better restaurants.

We go to Formentera every year ,The 1st Time was 1986 and it took over an Hour to get across from Ibiza, so we have seen alot of changes and alot more people now come to the island. I just hoped it does not get any bigger and keeps the way it has been for years. Not a place for single people if you are looking for clubs and late night music bars.

Very clean, literally steps away from Es Pujols beach and surrounded by shops, supermarket, restaurants and a pharmacy - the location couldn’t be better if you are looking to be close to everything you might need. Breakfast had a very big selection and was open until 12, which I really liked. They also offer a complimentary aperitivo but I did not try it. The rooms are on the basic side but they have all you need for a beach holiday. (Really appreciated the balcony with a small table, a seat and a hanger for towels and swimming suits)

Located in the city center of Es Pujols, it's easy to walk around at night if you want to have dinner in the city. Parking is available in a big lot located just behind the hotel. They offer (for free) a bathroom with a shower (and clean towels) so you can enjoy all day on the beach even if you already checked out. Breakfast and the pool area are really good.

Great location, clean and tidy and very secluded by the pool if there were ever days when the beach is a little windy. It’s the second place we’ve stayed in Formentera and it was by far our favourite.
