Staff were friendly and put up with my poor Spanish. Usually one of the receptionists will speak a certain amount of English but it is a Spanish hotel near a small Spanish town and far from any major tourist sites - so expect the obvious regarding communication. Important information was signposted also in English, such as what was included in the breakfast. It is a Spanish breakfast with tostada and choice of tomato, ham, cheese, pate, butter and jam. Also coffee, orange juice and a doughnut or small pastry/cake. It is good and traditional. Facilities are excellent with the large pool, parking on site, restaurant doing evening meals and cafe. Everywhere was clean, neat and tidy. Rooms are big enough with a sizeable balcony overlooking the Via Verde and olive groves. There is a nearby road but traffic noise in the room was not noticeable. I have stayed here many times over the years and the standards are still as good as ever.

The owner is very nice and very helpful. The apartment is looking like in the pictures or even better. Very comfortable and cozy, nicely decorated. A place to relax and unwind. I would definitely recommend a visit here. The apartment was spotless, very very clean

The place is amazing,beautiful decor, lots of space, well supplied kitchen, in 4 levels. The most comfortable level is the sitting room and the dining room level on the second floor. The air conditioner worked the best on that floor. Personally I am not a great fan of foams. I couldn't sleep using the foam pillow and the mattress got very hot even though the air conditioner worked throughout the night. At that level, the air conditioner was slightly noisy as well. To cool that level, be sure to turn on the air conditioner on the second level throughout the night as well. It's a very nice apartment. Well located. Close to the grocery store. Easy walk to the bus station.

What a unique spot! The apartment and the terrace have stunning views on the Sierras Subbeticas and the picturesque village of Zuheros. Inside it's cosy, well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Eva was the perfect host, caring and always ready to help - she even reserved the e-bikes for us as our Spanish wasn't good enough to do this ourselves. The village might be small but it has a supermarket, pharmacy and a couple of restaurants as well as a great local produce like olive oil, cheese and wine. Can't recommend El Hechizo and Zuheros enough as a vacation spot - we'll be back :)

This is an incredible hotel/apartment. Ignore any low reviews, they must be mad! Value for money? Unbelievable. Meet expectations? Blows the doors off!! The apartment itself is clean, quiet, comfortable, and then you see the panoramic view from the balcony. Is awesome. Thanks for this. Can’t wait to come back again.
