We liked everything, the amazing house and the perfect location to visit the Ribeira Sacra also close to Monforte de Lemos for more options of supermarkets and restaurants. It's a traditional stone house beautifully renovated, all modern, clean and comfortable with nice beds and linen. Two toilets, conveniently located one downstairs and one upstairs. The view of the sunset from the back bedroom window is something unforgettable. Marta was very friendly and helpful when in contact with us and kindly left coffee and cupcakes for our breakfast. We had the pleasure of meeting her in person in the morning when we were leaving. We spent only two days in this house but could easily stay much longer, we miss the place and the village dog that loves company for walks. I would love to come back and recommend La Casita de Coelhos to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel is more like a boutique hotel. All details are well taken care of. We were given an ample attic room, that was very comfortable, with all amenities well working. The room was crystal clear, breakfast is served in the bar nearby, and is quite good and fulfilling (with excellent home made bica). Easy parking around. There's a wonderful common area with sofa and armchairs at first floor, and paintings hanging from the walls are so artistic, we loved every moment of our stay. The staff is extremely welcoming, little English spoken though. Would recommend this hotel hands down.

A beautifully restored and furnished house in an idyllic tranquil rural spot just a short walk from the village of Parada do Sil. Despite what it previously may have said on booking.com there is excellent wifi, and parking is just 25 metres from the house. Many thanks to owner Rita who, with husband Emilio, runs the excellent bar/restaurant in the village. The surrounding area is full of forest walks, and centred on the awe-inspiring Cañon de Sil.8
