Beautifully decorated and clean room, great location, friendly staff. Enjoyed the roof top with the hot jacuzzi, especially in the evenings to get warm after the windy day outside. Even if hotel was fully booked, there was no feeling of overcrowd, roof top was always empty. I loved the room with the sea view. Local restaurant in front of a hotel is a must try

All the hotel staff were amazing and always went out of their way to make sure everything was to your liking. We were given a room overlooking the pool so we our children could have easy access. The staff at the kids club kept our boys entertained!

Staff was super kind, taking care of guests in the best possible way, always helpful, smiling and creating positive atmosphere. Food was nice, there was always something to choose from, but pizza… AMAZING! the best dish of all! Room comfy, spacious, big balcony, clean. We loved rooftop pool and sunbeds there. I would rate 11 or 12 if I could!

There's a number of beaches in the seaside town of Corralejo...

There's a number of beaches in the seaside town of Corralejo, but the best are just south of town where the huge dunes begin (walkable in 1+hours from the harbour, or by bus, bicycle & car), and there's a lot of space! Just keep exploring and walking. The north coast from Corralejo also worth exploring, although quite rugged. The town is also a good place to pick up surfing & diving trips, or to get quick ferries/boats to Lanzarote & Isla de Lobos. Corralejo has experienced rapid tourist development over the last 20+years, some good, some not, but all close to the sea. It has a huge range of bars, cafes, restaurants, ice-cream, shops, and also some live music. Some of it's a bit too noisy, but if you explore you'll find something to your taste especially in the quieter streets & squares away from the main commercial strip. Roads from Corralejo are good for exploring to the sourth and also inland, and we noted that there are the biginnings of a series on inland walks in quite stunning scenery.

Corralejo has something for everyone.

Corralejo has something for everyone. Lively areas if that is what you are into, quiet areas not too difficult to find. Plenty of bars and restaurants of all kinds, and nice beaches in walking distance, or a short bus ride to huge beaches in the Natural Park

We have been regular visitors to Corralejo for almost 30...

We have been regular visitors to Corralejo for almost 30 years & we have watched it change significantly. Much of what 1st attracted us to Corralejo/Fuerteventura is still there & despite it being so much bigger & busier, it maintains its charm. Change is inevitable, but on the whole it has all been positive & we really enjoyed our recent stay.

Corralejo is a very lovely place.

Corralejo is a very lovely place. Its laid back atmosphere is what appeals to me, this is our second time here this year. There’s something for everyone. Great restaurants, bars, nightlife if you want it but not over the top nightlife and all within walk distance . We will definitely be back!

The main street is the usual for Spanish holiday resorts, shops, bars, eateries etc all the way down on both sides. Lots to choose from, with most Brit, sport bars, which I detest, down various side streets to the main street. A walk along the beach is a must, it is very picturesque, only spoiled / enhanced, depending on your viewpoint, by the various seafront bars and eateries, . I've walked it a few times now and really liked it. I'd go back again just to walk along it and have a few, people watching, slow beers, on route. The only downside is trying to find a quiet bar to enjoy where you are, instead of a bar where you senses are battered by either some TV blaring out sport coverage or speakers, bands/singers belting out good tunes but just far far far too loud. We found on this trip a quiet bar, which was more to our liking., situated across the road from a very noisy and very crowded bar, McCarthy's, but each to their own. Accommodation, from the ridiculous share a room with a stranger, to opulent is available here, just a mater of your budget, but if I was going again I'd be looking at something like AVANTI Lifestyle Hotel on the beach, it looks absolutely fantastic in the pictures and in person. It would make a serious dent in your bank balance but I reckon, due to it's location, it would be well worth it. If you really want to enjoy this place then a week is a must, I've done 2 x 4 day trips and it just isn't enough time to take in the area. On a personal note, you won't catch me going down main street again as I don't like crowds and I don't particularly like shopping.

There are 3 or 4 good beaches with good beach bars.

There are 3 or 4 good beaches with good beach bars. Many good bars and restaurants on the sea front and in town and live music in the square. We did the sea taxi to Isle de Lobos which was very good. We have been here 5 time now and enjoy coming back.

Location - excellent, right on the sea. Food - very good, varied, fresh. Staff - very helpful. Cleanliness - everything was very clean. Restaurant - very good chefs and servers. Beach - clean, wonderful. Shop - near the hotel. Going to the city by bus is very easy. Room - large, wonderful terrace. It is very easy to get from the airport to the hotel by city bus. There is parking in front of the hotel. Safety - I felt very safe at the hotel and on the beach.

Location, location, location. Absolutely fantastic, right on the beach with views of the bay and Isla Lobos. Short walking distance to beach bars, restaurants and the center of Corralejo. Surfing anyone? Go right to the surfing schools and book yourself a training package. My adult kids enjoyed it very much. This was our second stay in La Golondrina. Coming back again in may but unfortunately no longer available so we had to look for alternate accommodation.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The grounds are beautiful, the pools fantastic and not cold. There was also a free mini golf. We had all inclusive and weren't bored of food. There was a different food theme night for dinner. The rooms were spacious and tidy. They were cleaned almost every day. The kids club was fantastic! And having a shop inside the hotel was a great bonus. We recommend this holiday for families with kids.

great location, well maintained hotel, very nice staff. good place to rest and relax without loud music. 90% of the guests are elderly . as it was a trip for my birthday i got a birthday card and a big bottle of champagne from the hotel. Fuerteventura offers a lot of activities that I participated in. Lobos island trip, kitesurfing, buggys it was fantastic, peace and quiet guaranteed which was my goal .
