Nice warm welcome when we arrived. The house has been tastefully decorated and retains many original features. The roof terrace was great for reading and relaxing in the winter sun. Watching the sunset from the roof was spectacular. The breakfast was great which set us up for the day.

The accommodation offered by Antonio is amazing — it’s located right in the heart of Cómpeta. You immediately feel the charm of the town and it’s truly magical. Antonio’s attitude was exceptional — even though we arrived late, he waited for us until the very end. Since our flight was delayed for quite a while, he quickly found a solution to make sure we could get the keys. What impressed us most was that the next day, after we had already checked out, he found us in a café in the town center just to meet us in person and make sure everything had been fine. It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. In conclusion, we’ll definitely be coming back to stay with Antonio again!

I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but the road leading to the property is perfectly signposted and easy to follow — no way to get lost. Even cars with low suspension will have no trouble getting there. The place itself exceeded all expectations. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The owners are genuinely amazing — friendly, caring, and always around to make sure guests feel at home. Breakfast was excellent — fresh, generous, and really satisfying. You can tell everything is prepared with care. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by stunning views that make you want to stay forever. It’s one of those rare places where you instantly feel relaxed and disconnected from the outside world. I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know — and I’m already looking forward to coming back. A big hug to your wonderful dogs!

Southern Spain and stayed in this amazing house “Casa Lirios”. It’s not far from Cómpeta (up in the mountains) and very remote. The house is spotless, loads of parking space and all the amenities you require including outside BBQ and Swimming pool. It’s extremely private with stunning views over the mountainous landscape. Thanks to Carmen and Julios who were amazing hosts.

Very nice little village in which you can stay without...

Very nice little village in which you can stay without stress. The area is so beautiful that it takes your breath away. Walking, e-biking is super. But be prepared for up and down, high and low. Take your good shoes on and explore something new before it becomes too touristic.

The village is beautiful and so well looked after.

The village is beautiful and so well looked after. The spirit of the people is wonderful and everyone was friendly. Lots of lovely restaurants. The Feria de Competa was fantastic. Not for the infirm as it has lots of hills

A beautiful Pueblo Blanco, with quiet, narrow streets, stunning architecture and fantastic restaurants. It's worth the extra drive up the mountain, and it's easy to get back down to the beaches when you want to.

Lovely little town (village) some small places around ti visit as well. Bike rental shop in the centre, lots of restaurants, bars, some flat paths buts mainly up and down the hill. Safe, quiet place, great community.Good internet signal in town.

Cómpeta is a small, beautiful and quaint little town on the Andalusia mountains, surrounded by wineries and winding roads. Cute little restaurants, bars and cafés for eating or watching the world go by. You can drive to the town square but it's easiest to walk around and explore the little alleys and shops. It has a slight hippie vibe to it with many crystal shops. Very queer friendly. We spotted raindow flags all around the city and tons of queer folk. Would recommend for anyone looking for a little escape from the city.

The villa is absolutely beautiful. You could never tire of the amazing views. Very well equipped with everything you need. The pool was great. Starts quite shallow then merges into the deep end (approximately 7ft deep). The local village of Competa is a short drive away. You definitely need a car to get to it. Simon and Vicky were great and only a quick WhatsApp message away, which were answered promptly. The villa does not lack detail at all. Has everything you need for a great holiday.

Excellently located on the hillside, run with great passion by a laid back couple, very intimate location (3 rooms for 6 guests avaliable), extremly comfortable beds. We had the room on the 1. floor, that one was absolutely quiet. Beautiful village named Competa 20 walking minutes away with dozens of restaurants & bars, just walking through the streets is worthwile. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to escape from touristic places and have a super relaxing stay.

Anthony and Ian are the perfect hosts, both welcoming and attentive. Casa Jardin oozes style and comfort and its proximity to the square makes it a superb place to stay. Our air conditioned bedroom was exceptionally clean and modern, on par with a boutique hotel. We would highly recommend this place and are looking forward to returning.

The lovely hosts, Location, beautifully restored building & decor. Lovely bathroom Just beware - lots of steep steps if you have walking difficulties- not an issue for us & obviously very typical of traditional Cómpeta properties ;-)
