When I requested a vegetarian meal, they produced a delicious salad plate with fried eggs and a quinoa burger. It was truly excellent. They also made a wonderful cheese omelette for my breakfast. Some of the best food I had on the entire Camino Frances.

The couple running the Albergue are to please the Pilgrims. I could not ask for any thing more. I can't say enough about this albergue. Excellent host. The pilgrim dinner was just excellent. Even the wine was so good. Not your usual Pilgrim meal. So so good. I thank you for making my Camino so special.

For me one of the most important things about an albergue is the host. On this occasion the host was facing a difficult personal situation beyond his control and yet this had no negative impact on the level of service or hospitality. I was so impressed with how welcome I was made at the end of a particularly long day. I was even asked if I was hungry and offered a meal at 5.30pm which I gratefully accepted! Thank you so much Los Canarios.

It was clean and modern mixed with old town charm. Clear instructions from hotel to check in. Good breakfast. We were lucky to coincide with their first wine tasting paired with tapas dinner. It included 4 wines and 4 tapas paired with each wine.
