The location and that the house was big with a funny layout. Amazing view. Great having AC and be able to sleep in a cave! Breakfast was good 😊 Great wifi. Well equipped kitchen and receiving a bootle of their own produced wine. It was weird to use a toilet which had no privacy, but already the second time you are used. And there is a toilet with a door for the very, very shy ones.

Lovely family run traditional Spanish hotel in the pleasant town of Alcazar San Juan. Short walk to historic town centre with not another tourist in sight! Staff very friendly and helpful. Secure hotel garage free of charge. Everything nice and clean, comfortable beds, good facilities. Traditional Spanish breakfast. Fabulous value, highly recommended.

This town is stunning; I think it's one of the most beautiful I've seen in Spain. It exceeded my expectations. The sunset with the windmills is spectacular. Having that panoramic view of the town is a beautiful memory.

It's always a great place to visit, both for its historical monuments and its natural surroundings, as well as for its traditional cuisine. We went during Holy Week and loved it; it's very beautiful. It's an ideal place to unwind.

I was pleasantly surprised.

I was pleasantly surprised. We hadn't planned much, and it was a real discovery. We ate lunch at Las Musas and had breakfast at one of the bars with a terrace on the same street. We loved it; it has a special magic.

We loved the surroundings, the windmills, and the guide.

We loved the surroundings, the windmills, and the guide. It was a great bonus that we got a discount on the windmill tour because we were staying in Campo de Criptana. The only downside I could mention was the heat, which made it difficult to enjoy the tour as peacefully as we would have liked, but that's unavoidable, so I can't complain.

It's a spectacle to see the windmills of Campo de Criptana; I think everyone should see them, at least once in their life, and see themselves in the context of how they worked and how Don Quixote mistook them for giants, amazing.

A super hotel with lots of lovely original features and artefacts. Each room has a pretty little terrace outside. Breakfast is served in caves at the back of the property. María José is an absolutely charming and helpful host. The pool is lovely and a real bonus. The location is perfect. Just below the windmills & the tourist office and just above the Plaza Mayor. We would highly recommend staying here.
