We had a wonderful and relaxing time in the Aguaviva apartment. The host was able to arrange an early arrival for us, he welcomed us with a bottle of wine and showed us how to use the laundry machine (with soap provided). The apartment was newly renovated, sparkling clean with a comfortable bed and all utilities you need to feel at home. If you need full darkness in the bedroom to sleep well, there are wooden shutters outside the window. The area is very calm, with two small supermarkets, some restaurants and the beach just a few minutes walking. There is also a bus stop nearby (bus 471 to Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos).

The appartment has a great location in the first row at the coastline, with superb view to the west (for enjoying the sunsets). It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a public pool around the corner. The appartment has a terrace where you can have your breakfast or dinner while enjoying the view. Appartment itself is spatious, with a big living room and fully equiped kitchen (including an oven, a microwave and a washing machine if you plan to stay longer). In the vicinity (15 min walk) is a supermarket and a small buisness centre with several good restaurans or bars. If you have a rental car there is street parking available in front of the building, and all the popular beaches are some 15 minutes drive away. Marianne, the owner is very helpful, she explained us everything. As we arrived in the middle of the night she was waiting for us, although normally the check in is until 20.00 hours.

There is an abundance of excellent restaurants and bars.

There is an abundance of excellent restaurants and bars. Try them all, it is worth the effort. The village is probably more suited to mature visitors - not a great deal to offer for children. If you are looking for somewhere quiet and extremely friendly to share with your partner it is the place to be.

Callao Salvaje is a good place to stay, even if you plan to...

Callao Salvaje is a good place to stay, even if you plan to explore the whole island with a rented car. It’s well connected to the highway and has two supermarkets, plenty of restaurants, and a beautiful black-sand beach (Playa de Ajabo). The beach also offers free umbrellas where you can lay your towel.

Very nice place, quiet but all of the services were close. Perfect for people looking for relaxing holiday atmosphere, far from loud clubs and discos. A lot of good restaurants in the area, nice, guarded beach, decent prices in restaurants.

This is a quiet area, which was nice for a family visit. If you want more bars and nightlife this is not the area for you. Some small restaurants and cafes with a good range of menus. Supermarket and bus stops also in the area. Good bus service for exploring other areas and attractions.
