I was so tired after my Caminho 23 km day that I initially went to the wrong building but they noticed and called me to the actual hotel - don’t get me wrong, it’s very visible but I got tired. Then I wasn’t able to find a bathroom in my room and went to fight to the reception but again turned out that I am super tired and I did not even notice a door in the room because it’s designed really nicely!! Also I was super surprised how nicely the hotel is done overall, I am not sure why it is 1 star only. It looks very new and comfortable. The room and the facilities were very good. You should do it during the Caminho

I met am angels. A host and her daughter were so friendly and kind. I lost the way in the dark because of my foot injury 🤕 They were concerned about me and took me by car where I am..! I can not imagine the arrival in caldas de leis without them. Room was so cozy, and the bed was so comfortable. They serve me the free washing machine. House was modern and clean! And location was so good 👍 Moreover, people in caldas de leis were so nice. This house and the town was the best while in camino de santigao! Thank you angels once again. I will keep your hospitalities in my mind forever🥹

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in.

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in. The beds were comfortable, it was a safe area. The kitchen was decent, the air conditioning worked well (important during this stay as it was hot in CdR). It seemed to be quiet so getting a good nights rest was easy. There are dining amenities very close and there is also a produce market if you are inclined to make your own food! The wifi was a little dodgy at times. We used the washing machine and the clothes drying rack which made our stay there very productive.

A great place to stay for the Camino. Very helpful locals good restaurants and supermarkets the girl in the information bureau was so helpful when I asked if she could call speak in Spanish to the host of our apartment when we could not get the link to work so helpful. would visit again as Caldes de Reis had a good vibe

There was a good street market when we arrived around...

There was a good street market when we arrived around lunchtime. It was really difficult to find a place that would serve a meal in the early evening. Finally, we found Bar La Catedral Del Sabor, very near our hotel. The owners are lovely and we had a good meal there. They have a stamp for the Camino passport also. The bridge on the Camino, as it leaves Caldas da Reis, is very picturesque.

Caldas de Reis is a stopover for the people walking the "Camino de Santiago". Very quite and small town with lots of hostels and hotels for the walkers. Best restaurants - O Loureiro and O Muiño

It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque.

It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque. Nice parks to walk around, plenty of restaurants and cafes. It's small so easy to get around by walking. Did not partake of the hot springs but this town definitely famous for them.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

It felt like a privilege to stay in a private room with a pool during the Camino! It was the rest that we needed to go further with our way. I really recommend this place, it was amazing! The pool is very nice to chill. Staff was also amazing! The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. We accidentally found the public hot spring in Caldas de Reis, it is 10 min away from the accommodation and it is worth a visit.

The staff, the room, and the breakfast. The hotel is a lovely place to stay after a days walking - the granite and the wood create a lovely rustic modern design. The Camiño passes by the front door, so very convenient for pilgrim. Andrea the manager lived up to her reputation for being welcoming and deserves all the praise she gets. The breakfast selection was very good.
