This place stood out as our favorite stay along the entire Camino. The room was spotless, welcoming, and had a quiet charm that made us feel at home right away. The house is thoughtfully furnished — every detail seems chosen with care, and the atmosphere lifts your mood the moment you walk in. We especially appreciated the terrace and the outdoor space — a real gift after a long day on the trail. Just lying on a lounger, listening to the stillness, was more than enough. And the location couldn’t have been more convenient — just a short walk from town, but still peaceful and tucked away. We were grateful to end our day here.

I met am angels. A host and her daughter were so friendly and kind. I lost the way in the dark because of my foot injury 🤕 They were concerned about me and took me by car where I am..! I can not imagine the arrival in caldas de leis without them. Room was so cozy, and the bed was so comfortable. They serve me the free washing machine. House was modern and clean! And location was so good 👍 Moreover, people in caldas de leis were so nice. This house and the town was the best while in camino de santigao! Thank you angels once again. I will keep your hospitalities in my mind forever🥹

It certainly was a very warm welcome and so fabulous to stay for a night whilst walking the Camino. Only been open 8 months and such high quality renovation. Soft fluffy towels. Fabulous comfortable bed. Excellent value for money.

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in.

The lodging is very new and quite easy to stay in. The beds were comfortable, it was a safe area. The kitchen was decent, the air conditioning worked well (important during this stay as it was hot in CdR). It seemed to be quiet so getting a good nights rest was easy. There are dining amenities very close and there is also a produce market if you are inclined to make your own food! The wifi was a little dodgy at times. We used the washing machine and the clothes drying rack which made our stay there very productive.

A great place to stay for the Camino. Very helpful locals good restaurants and supermarkets the girl in the information bureau was so helpful when I asked if she could call speak in Spanish to the host of our apartment when we could not get the link to work so helpful. would visit again as Caldes de Reis had a good vibe

There was a good street market when we arrived around...

There was a good street market when we arrived around lunchtime. It was really difficult to find a place that would serve a meal in the early evening. Finally, we found Bar La Catedral Del Sabor, very near our hotel. The owners are lovely and we had a good meal there. They have a stamp for the Camino passport also. The bridge on the Camino, as it leaves Caldas da Reis, is very picturesque.

Caldas de Reis is a stopover for the people walking the "Camino de Santiago". Very quite and small town with lots of hostels and hotels for the walkers. Best restaurants - O Loureiro and O Muiño

It's a nice small town, very charming and picturesque. Nice parks to walk around, plenty of restaurants and cafes. It's small so easy to get around by walking. Did not partake of the hot springs but this town definitely famous for them.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village.

Caldas de Reis is a beautiful, walkable village. There is a 30-minute walk to a waterfall that I wanted to take but it was too hot that afternoon. It was too hot to take advantage of the hot pools as well. It would have been nice to stay another day here, take a rest day. The restaurants looked really nice as well.

This hotel is such a treat mid Camino, Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Food is delicious, the avocado toast is amazing! Breakfast was excellent before setting out to walk. Pool is such a treat in the garden it’s a gorgeous afternoon sun trap. Towels are so luxurious. Very comfortable bed, shower and bath are both great.

The host is very communicative and helpful, they gave us a better solution to our luggage courrier service that was closer and safe. Clean and spacious apartment, great location at the heart of Caldas de Reis and along the Camino path. We had everything we needed in the apartment. There was an escalator too and a view to the street.
