The hotel has a great location with views over the bay, to be admired from the room with a sea side view, the breakfast place or the restaurant. Receptionists were really friendly ( thx for the upgrade) and gave great advise on things to do and watch out for.

The location is on the front, in the middle of it all but still quiet as the bedrooms are at the back of the property.
Beautiful swimming pool. Very clean property. Excellent staff who went over and beyond to help you.

Great location, easy communication, plenty of parking, walk up a few stairs, some ants got into the apt, over all a great stay.
some awesome beaches within 30 mins walk, so you don't have to drive. supermarket and restaurants right in C. Galdana.

The villa is clean, there are stair gates which was great for the children. The outdoor area with pool is spacious and clean. A really beautiful, well kept villa. It is up a hill from the beach but so are all the villas and we enjoyed the exercise and it’s an amazing view.

By far, one of the best resorts on Menorca - a long-term favourite with a wide range of attractions just a short car journey, bus ride or walk away. Extremely popular destination for British/French families and couples. Something for everyone with three major, well-appointed hotels (Minura Cala Galdana, Meliá Cala Galdana and ARTIEM Audax adults only) and many comfortable/affordable apartments.

I had read in several guide books that Cala Galdana was too built-up and commercialized, but we did not find that. The town is very small and not too crowded and the beach was great. Bus service there, however, is quite limited. Much better to have a car.

Cala Galdana is a small resort and there is a limited choice of places to eat and drink and its not great value for money compared to when we visited Cuitadella and noticed how much cheaper it was there. There are only a couple of small supermarkets so if you want a 'big' shop for self catering you would have to venture to Cuitadella (about 30 minutes away) by bus or taxi. There seems to be a mosquito problem as all 4 of us were bitten quite badly - this seemed to be in the evenings when out in the restaurants / bars. The beach is beautiful and it is worth renting the sunbed and umbrella for a lovely relaxing day. You are however allowed to put your towel and own umbrella on the beach. We hired a self drive boat for a couple of hours which was good fun. Its worth taking your snorkel and mask as the bay is shallow and there are lots of fish.

As above we think that there are better places to stay in Menorca for couples, but Cala Galdana is hard to beat for its reasonably priced accommodation and range of facilities. As I have coeliac disease and must eat gluten free it was good to have cooking facilities and to find most restaurants had no trouble providing suitable meals.ColinNew Zealand - 8.0Scored 8.0
A nice beach, ideal for families.
A nice beach, ideal for families. The water is usually very calm and it doesn't get deep for a while. It is especially fun because two of the islands most beautiful beaches are also in walking distance. Even our 5-year-old was able to walk there on his own. Sadly, it seems to be a thing for women to be topless at the beach, especially at those you have to walk to. That was pretty awkward. Unfortunately, there was a storm one night. The river that runs from inland into the bay, made the whole bay turn into a brown pawn for two days. The town hasn't very much charm to offer. But it has a selection of restaurants and some stores. Sadly, they allowed the Melia hotel group to build a really big hotel right by the beach. It really isn't nice to look at. We rented a paddle boat with a slide for an hour. That was great fun for the whole family. We would recommend doing that.AndreasSwitzerland - 10Scored 10

Fabulous place for anyone with or without children. Perfect facilities- clean - plenty of lovely places to eat and drink. Stunning views. Supermarkets if self catering and ideal if you wanted to stay self catering, hotel or villa. Would definitely return

You have 4 stunning beaches (Cala Galdana, Cala Mitjana, Cala Macarella and Cala Macarelleta) within walking distance from the hotel. No need for taxis. The closest beach is 10 min walk and the furthest one is 40 min walk. The breakfast is buffet and it offers variety. It is nothing special but it is good enough. The fruit is really nice and the quality is very good vs UK quality of food. The room is very big. You don't just have a room, but you also have a living room, a toilet and a terrace!

Staying at Can Pons was like a dream, watching the stunning sunsets from the terrace and enjoying the wonderful swimming pool. It is all surrounded by lush trees and there's lots of birds so it feels like you are in the middle of the woods. You can also see the water of Cala Galdana from the terrace, which adds to the already brilliant views. We would definitely go back anytime.RicardoSpain

The management got in touch in the morning to resolve any problems. We could spend our next two nights in a different beautiful apartment in a different location the establishment owns within Cala Galdana - further up the hill. As much as we cannot recommend the first apartment, we would highly recommend booking an apartment at the other site of Alta Galdana.

The 2 bed apartment was fine for 2 adults and 2 children, with nice views of and easy access to the pool. Kids mini disco was a huge hit, and the buffet breakfast was good if quite busy. There is noise into the evening if near the pool / bar area but not an issue for us. Staff were great.

We were also upgraded to a larger room because it wasn't being used, free of charge. The view is exceptional, and the location is great for accessing the Cala Galdana beach, as well as Cala Macarelleta/Macarella and Cala Mitjana (30 minute walk through forest).
