Beautiful hotel in Moorish style in fantastic location next to main square but quiet. Close to historic Old Town, just across the plaza. Loved the style and atmosphere of the rooms. Beautiful terrace for good breakfast with tostada, coffee, apple cake and orange juice. Friendly staff. Good aircon. Very clean.

Everything was perfect! The check-in was fast and simple. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast had a good selection of cold and hot dishes. The location was very convenient for Cáceres. The staff was polite and always willing to help. The pool/spa was a nice addon to our stay.

An unforgettable stay from start to finish. Our room was absolutely spotless, beautifully maintained and incredibly comfortable. The staff struck the perfect balance of warm, welcomingand genuinely attentive, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is set in a stunning historic location, which adds a unique charm to the entire experience. On top of that, the wellness facilities are exceptional: a relaxing sauna, a perfectly kept pool and a wonderful Turkish bath that made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right... but this hotel truly does. We can’t recommend it highly enough. the 2 Italian managers were exceptionally professional and welcoming as well as the two reception secretaries, whose kindness made every interaction a pleasure. We also want to thank the guys at the entrances who were always attentive and helpful.

Its a busy city with a lot going on and a good night life. i didnt explore much but it didnt seem so historical as other cities however the people are friendly and the prices are decent for Spanish ciites. I dont reccomend Goika, its expensive and the portions were small.

Caceres is a lovely old mediaeval city, walled and interesting, but not too touristy. We will certainly go back, because there's more to see (even though it's a compact old town, there's a lot there). The bars and restaurants aren't a rip-off: we had a very good menu del dia for 17 euros - slightly more than one would pay in a village restaurant or a via de servicio, but we were on the Plaza Mayor, just below the city walls, and the food was excellent and very generous. The rest of the city has plenty of nice bars and restaurants as well.

Caceres is well worth a trip.Theres lots to see and much atmosphere to soak up.Nice friendly city/town with many nearby places worth a visit such as Truillo and Guadalupe......Actually the historic architecture in both Caceres and Truillo is something to write home about!..If your into nature there are literally scores of square Kms of wild flowers in the surrounding countryside thanks to light touch farming practises and this brings many insects which in turn bring many birds and other creatures...Definitely worth a trip is the national park in Monfrague so youll need to hire a car to get the best of that type of thing.

Spain at Easter time is generally complicated. But even so, we managed to book restaurants without any major problems and visit the main attractions. Cáceres is one of the most beautiful cities in Spain (and I say this as someone who has seen many), with a fantastic historic center and lots to see, including in the surrounding area — Mérida, Cáceres, Trujillo, Los Barruecos... We will definitely be back one day.

A city rich with history and beauty - and worth the time of...

A city rich with history and beauty - and worth the time of a few weeks to explore. Expect to climb hills as you wander the narrow streets and steep steps around the old town. Surrounding Caceres is a necklace of green spaces! As an artist, I enjoyed sketching while the crowds grew for Holy Week.

The historic centre is beautiful and interesting. The rest of the town is sadly shabby and in need of considerable investment. We lucked out on seeing the incredible festivities welcoming in Semana Santa. Fantastic enthusiasm by all and wonderful community spirit. Great to see both young and older people involved. Uplifting

An excellent hotel with good facilities in a great location for the centre. This did mean that there was no parking however. You are allowed 15 mins to drop off bags then have to drive to a car park and walk back. This didn’t cater for higher vehicles so we then had to find another car park on the edge of town and walk the 15 minutes back to the hotel. Bit of a pain but the price you pay to enjoy easy access to such a historical centre and Caceres is worth it!

The hotel car park was well sign posted. The upgrade to a suite. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel was very close to the historic centre of Caceres. We would definitely stay here again if travelling in this area.

Fabulous location, convenient for driving through Spain, secure parking, great spa and outdoor swimming pools, well equipped rooms (coffee and tea making in a hotel outside the UK is very unusual), lovely staff and great value!
