The location, the rooms, the shower, the welcome. The restaurant was closed and he had gone to the supermarket to get a picnic (we were on bikes…) and the lovely owner provided us with glasses, plates, cutlery and a table to sit at. Just what we needed at the end of a very tiring day of cycling. Breakfast was amazing. We loved it here! Thank you

A quirky and beautifully renovated place. Fabulous views and a great night’s sleep in this quiet location. The hosts were very friendly and provided a wide range of information including places where we could eat with our dog. Probably the most dog friendly place we have ever stayed.

Everything!!! The hotel, the room, the staff, the restaurant, the spa, everything was exceptional. Firstly the rooms. Beautifully appointed, fantastic shower and toileteries, the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Next the staff. Everyone we interacted with were so helpful, passionate and with great personalities. Nothing could have made us feel more at home, even with some language barriers. Special mention goes out to Cova in the restaurant who was exceptional in explaining everything and making us so relaxed. She was also fluent in English and French (and Spanish of course). Also Ruth on the front desk was so welcoming and helped us with restaurant suggestions. The restaurant - absolutely amazing food, beautifully crafted with merging traditional Asturian favourites with special twists. Great desserts! The breakfasts were amazing, top quality fruit, yoghurt, breads, pastries, meats and cheese and wonderful cooked options. Had a massage in the spa, excellent and the outside pool was so clean. Not heated but I quite prefer colder water anyway. Will definately return. This place is first class

Rural area with lovely walking possibilities.

Rural area with lovely walking possibilities. Several local restaurants within walking distance of our holiday accommodation, but we did not try any of them. We tended to eat out at lunch time when sightseeing or visiting nearby towns, and then cook in the apartment in the evening. There is a small town, Villaviciosa, nearby, with a good supermarket. Several beaches are within a short drive away ( you do need a car here), including Playa Merón, where significant dinosaur finds have been made.
